We stayed here for Winona State family weekend.
It worked out great, our son ( student) apartment was right across the street. The accommodation are comfortable . We will be back

Very pleasant, spacious house. Nothing fancy, but very comfortable. Excellent experience with communicating with the owners. A short walk to Lake Winona and Winona State University. Friendly locals when walking around. The only drawback is that the house is on a somewhat busy corner. Would come back to stay again.

This is a wonderful property located in a great neighborhood in Winona. It had ALL of the conveniences you might need, and then some. It’s super clean and cozy. Absolutely perfect for 4-6 people, all at a VERY affordable price!! We would 100% stay here again, and would recommend this property to anyone who is planning a trip to the area!!

It served our purpose well which was to have a place to lay their heads close to Winona State University. Since we had 6 people it would have been costly to rent two hotel rooms, this was the perfect solution.

We enjoyed our stay. Improvements would be to be able to open windows and have screens so bugs couldn't get in and have curtains to keep the sun out on mornings. Also, the second bathroom was downstairs which with our family wasn't accessible to all members staying there.

This was a great place for us to celebrate our daughters graduation from Winona state. Plenty people f room for everyone one. Property owners were great!

We throughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage by the lake. It was bright, neat and extremely clean. Our host, Kim, made sure every amenity imaginable was provided. There was even a tray on the dining room table with breakfast goodies & milk in the refrigerator for the cereal! The cottage had a great layout and a garage door opener was provided so we could park in the garage. We absolutely loved our stay in Winona & hope to visit again! I highly recommend Kim & her Cottage by the Lake!!

House was comfortable and very clean with plenty of space. Great views of the bluffs and located a short walking distance to the lake and park. It is located on the corner of a busy street, but still was private and an easy drive to all the area offers. Property owner immediately responded to our questions and the home had all we needed- we appreciated the breakfast items and the note with information regarding the house. We have stayed often in Winona at many other places, but hope we can come back and stay here again.

Clean, efficient and practical. Loved the MCM vibe - we so loved the wallpaper that matched the valences. The King bed was super comfy and the house had the perfect layout. Shower was great and the extra bathroom in the basement served us well. Going to remember this place and stay again. One addition that would be convenient is a keypad for entry vs keys. The lock box got a bit cumbersome.

From the minute we arrived, we felt like we were at home. The owner had the house decorated for the fall season. The kitchen was extremely easy to cook in, and the owner assured that there were plenty of cooking utensils and extras. Winona was beautiful and everyone was very friendly. For a small town, Winona has everything. Can't wait to go back and visit again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The hosts were extremely communicative and the home was sparkling clean and well-stocked. If you are a fan of mid century homes, this property will delight you. It was also surprisingly quiet for being a corner home. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
