Place was great. As advertised. Family of four was very comfortable here and didn’t lack any amenities. Location was big plus: 1.5 blocks from subway. 1 block from small food court. 1.5 miles from Capitol building…or just a couple metro stops away. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Off street parking was also a big benefit. Neighborhood seemed safe. Walked around quite a bit. Used Uber a few times with no problems. Only interacted a couple times with owners—everything just seemed pretty straightforward—but the questions I did ask were quickly and effectively answered. Would recommend this place without hesitation!!

This house is conveniently located about a block from the Potomac Metro station. It had all of the amenities we needed and was perfect for a family of four. The hosts provided excellent directions for accessing the home.

Great location for DC tourists. We were able to avoid city traffic by walking or taking metro everywhere. Offstreet parking was safe and convenient. Easy metro access and quick rides to everything you want to see. Great restaurants are right there, or Eastern Market is an easy walk straight down Penn. We took advantage of the nearby Safeway to cook a couple meals at home. Up-and-coming neighborhood felt safe and walkable; lots of families. The house was perfect for our group of two septigenarions, one adult, two teens.

Just a shade over a block away from the metro a 10 minute walk from the Safeway. Awesome location super nice place. Couldn’t ask for much better.

What a great location! So close to the Metro. Would appreciate instructions for TV. Would also be nice to have a list of restaurants close by. But what a great place to stay. We were able to get to everywhere on the Metro.

We had a great time at this house in DC. It is walking distance to many restaurants and bars and was right by the Metro. The place was really clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Would stay again!

We stayed here for five nights. This was a great property to visit with two tweens and introduce them to the wonders of DC. The property is very close to the metro, grocery store and restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and felt safe. Additional restaurants are just 6 blocks away on 8th Street. The owner was quick to respond to questions or concerns. We appreciated the washer and drier combo.

I purposely picked this property because I hate driving in DC. The car is a liability and driving is a nightmare most of the time. We skipped the rental car and got an unlimited pass on the metro. It worked out great. It is a block from the Potomac Ave station. Don't let the bars on the windows scare you, we felt safe but you should always stay sharp in DC. The house is just like advertised, just lots of extras that you normally have to buy. There were enough Keurig coffee cups for the next several months. Toilet paper, trash bags no problem. Could use some plastic storage containers for leftovers. It is just a comfortable place. I was surprised at how quiet it was as well. Other than an occasional early morning pesky bird it was very quiet. I never heard the neighbors. Has a gated parking spot in the back which is key since parking can get tight at night or weekends plus I think you need a special parking permit. The roost restaurant is super close and has lots of choices although I do not like ordering from the phone so much. Monae the manager and or owner is the most responsive person ever. She will respond fastest than my kids and is super helpful. Overall a great place if you want to use the metro to see the usual sites around DC. Affordable. Good manager. I will definitely book this place again in the future.

The house was just as advertised and was a great fit for family trip to DC. Plenty of space for the 5 of us (two adults, three teen/tweens). We loved the location right near the rail stop and found it very easy to get anywhere we wanted to visit without renting a car. A great VRBO experience!

We, all four of us, enjoyed the accommodations and our time there.

Host was great! Place was clean, communication was on point. I’m a good area right near the subway. Would stay again 10/10

The bathrooms were a little difficult they had no space no cabinets. The third bedroom bed was not comfortable. Pillows were terrible. There was no directions for the TV in the front room or the guest bedrooms. The house was very clean. Kitchen was very nice. Washer and dryer was delightful. Enjoyed our stay.

Outstanding accommodations for a family vacation that is convenient to the metro and the major roads...easily walkable to the Capitol and nearby Trader Joe's. Kitchen and facilities are in great working order. Had no problems at all during the trip.

Perfect property for our family of four, including sons ages 12 and 9. Good grocery stores and restaurants near by. D.C attractions easily accessible by Metro and bike.

For us location was key! We have family living within 2 blocks of the property and it was great to be close by! There was plenty of space for myself, husband, and two children! We enjoyed the playground across the street and proximity to the metro! We had easy access to neighborhood eateries and bars! My kids loved the big tub and space to spread out. When we did have a slight hiccup with the water cooler, the owner was quick to respond and get it taken care of!! We loved our stay and would 100% stay again!

This was a family trip to visit my son in DC over Easter. Reasonably priced (for DC), clean, parking space included which was awesome because street parking in the city is a huge headache. Neighborhood felt safe. About a 45-60 minute walk to the tidal basin/mall area. Monae was very responsive and helpful. Would stay again.

The owner/manager provided ample supplies of trash bins, toilet paper and towels etc, even drinking water, umbrellas and shopping cart are provided. We did not use all of these but appreciate the thoughtfulness of the property manager.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this home. Close to public transit, grocery store, restaurants and perfect space for our family to relax in. Owners were friendly and easy to communicate with.

This house was perfect for our family trip. Very comfortable and easy to get to the memorials and museums.

Only one block from the Metro was a big asset. The furniture and appliances are too big for the size of the place. The master bath has a very luxurious bathtub with fancy jets, but the shower handle is so high that it's impossible for a short person to turn it on without getting doiused with cold water. I can imagine larger vehicles would have trouble getting into the garage space, since we had to manuever our Fit carefully.

This home is just a few minutes walk from the Metro station and is near lots of restaurants and shops. At the end of the block, you can see the Capitol dome. There was plenty of room for our family of 2 adults and 3 teenagers. The host responded quickly each time we contacted her. We will stay here if we visit again!

This was a great find! My husband, 6 year old son and I stayed here for a week and it was perfect. First off the owner was incredibly responsive and even allowed us access early since our flight arrived a few minutes earlier than expected. The home was clean and inviting with all the amenities you could need including charging cords in case you forget yours, private off street parking which was incredible, a fully stocked kitchen and smart tvs. It was located close enough to the metro station to make transportation easy. The only thing we wished was there were more places to eat within walking distance but did find some good options. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying or visiting in the area.

Such a great stay at this house. Plenty of space for my family of five! We appreciated the water cooler, lots of toilet paper and multiple tvs! It was nice to come back to the house after a day of sight seeing.

We were part of the Southwest debacle, long delayed flight, lost luggage, cancelled flight home. However, this home was super comforting and relaxing. Clean, close to Metro stop, cute shops on the corner. The owner was easily accessible for questions and concerns and super friendly. Highly recommend!

The property was comfortable for our weekend trip to DC. We definitely enjoyed having our own safe parking space as we drive a large SUV. The train station is close to property, as well as some amazing restaurants. Cute park across street as well. Overall it was a nice property and we felt safe and welcomed.

We absolutely loved this property. I looked on VRBO for several days for a property to fit our needs. This was actually my 10th time in DC, but my first time to stay in a house rather than a hotel. This house did not disappoint. The house is 2 blocks from The Roost which is a lovely little food court with great food. We had pizza, tacos, and sushi there. This house is just .3 miles from the Safeway and 3 blocks from Potomac Ave. Metro. We did rent a car through Turo because we visited the Udvar Hazy Center in Virginia, so we looked for a house with off-street parking. It’s a little tight getting in and out of the drive, but after the first time or two, you get the hang of it. We loved the neighborhood. It’s a beautifully diverse, quiet, yet vibrant part of DC. We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee and our evening glass of wine on the front porch. The home was clean and stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. The only items we felt we could use, but weren’t absolutely necessary, would be plastic containers for leftovers in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the closets in each bedroom are huge! It was nice to put our luggage away and not feel cramped. We would definitely rent this home again.

The property was well located with Safeway about 5 blocks away and restaurants a block away. We were able to walk to the mall and take a bus home. Kitchen could use some serving pieces like a lager bowl and microwave dishes.

Perfect stay in this 3 bedroom home! Easy access to metro, 1 block from some food options and 10 min walk to good grocery store, cozy comfortable place! Owner was very responsive and accessable- highly recommend this place!
