Very convenient location, great hosts!

A perfect little cozy place in Parksville to call home while visiting friends in nearby Qualicum. The suite is thoughtfully furnished, beautifully decorated and stocked with all that one would need during their stay. It was a nice touch that Rick (the host) came by on our first day to make sure we were ok and had everything that we needed. Will definitely stay here again the next time we're back in Parksville :)

The suite was impeccably clean and absolutely lovely. It was truly a home away from home, cozy, comfortable, with all needed amenities. Close walking distance to beach walks, groceries, Tim Horton’s, restaurants. The large backyard was fully enclosed, private and beautifully landscaped. I wanted to stay and live there!

Stayed for one last weekend before the kids went back to school and everyone enjoyed the place. Location was on a quiet street behind an arterial street making for quick exits when you needed to go out. The entire trip we were never more than a 20 min drive to anywhere we wanted to go. Rick the owner who lives next door is a very nice man who ensures everything is going well and will help you with anything you need. Suite accommodated 2 adult's and 2 young kids with no issues. Newly renovated and has everything we needed. I've been to my fair share of rentals and this was one of the cleanest of them all. Would definitely not hesitate to come back on a future visit.

This gem of a place was the perfect spot for a mini-vacay for our family of 4! The suite is immaculate, well-appointed (even has A/C!), & is beautifully decorated~an extremely comfy & cozy home away from home! :) Beaches, shopping, groceries, dining, etc. are all within walking, & many other attractions are just a short drive away. The hosts are super friendly & helpful--Doris was quick to respond to my emails & Rick went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. (thank you for turning the alcove into sleeping quarters that our teens literally fought over!) The only minor drawback is that this suite does not have a dishwasher, which was not an issue for us as our friends stayed in the "adjoining" suite which does (so we just did all the dishes on that side) ;) Thanks Rick & Doris for an amazing stay--we look forward to visiting again real soon! ;)

Great location, friendly hosts, beatiful place. We had oir first trip to Parksville as a family with 2 young kids and this was a perfect place to stay. Spotless, very comfortable suite, beautiful courtyard. We had everything we needed. We'll be coming back for sure!

Rick was a fantastic host, even in the face of our minor catastrophe! A very quiet area and supremely comfortable abode.

We had a great stay at Doris/ Rick’s place- it’s a newly renovated one bedroom suite with A/C! Location is superb, close to everything and the neighbourhood is so quiet. Doris is super easy to communicate and Rick is such a kind gentleman and explains everything you need! Our family enjoyed this clean and beautiful home and definitely will be back when we want to visit Parksville area again.
