First room smelled like mildew when I turned on the AC. The second room they gave me hadn't been cleaned. The third room was fine until I saw a cockroach crawl into the coffee maker.

The hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. The room was stuffy and the AC didn't work well. There were no towels or water available in the gym. Actually, no water available anywhere.

Great location etc. like description and others reviews. Breakfast is ok and typical of Best Westerns. Negative for us was lack of housekeeping in spite of a 4 night stay. Everything else was value for the price.

The room was very clean. All vending and ice machines were inoperable. Bed was uncomfortably soft with indents. The hot water ran luke warm for 4 1/2 minutes till it became hot. Food at breakfast was good. I addressed the hot water issue and no explanation was given and never resolved by second day

Our tv / remote would not work. An employee came to our room at around 6pm and confirmed it wasn’t working, took the remote , and said he would get back to us. Never heard from anyone. No tv all evening and next morning. The breakfast was absolutely awful.The dining room was totally over run with teenagers there for some sporting event. The ftt try not desk help seemed very annoyed we needed anything from her.

The location can’t be beat. Able to walk Old Town Clovis for shopping, dining and farmers market.
Hotel is dated. I did not have hot water for 2 days then they moved me to another room that had hot water. Bring your own drinking water as is not provided and vending is out of order. Room was not serviced when requested and the toilet would run continuously.

Diego was friendly when we checked in. Gave us recommendations for restaurants. Saturday night asked for change for vending machine. Girl at front desk seemed annoyed. When checking out Sunday morning, I heard front desk clerk tell housekeeping, he was the only one, and it would be a minute. The room had finger and face print on sliding glass door. Food on wall by fireplace and spit mark on the hearth. Furniture was dusty and couch old and worn out. King size bed was comfortable.

Linen lady was not nice to customers and guests. For 2 nights stay, we had one breakfast only. Some food were salty. The breakfast space was crowded. Diego was very nice and helpful. Other front desk guy favors outsiders on breakfast over guests.

Door to our would no stay shut unless you slammed the hell out of it. Rat infestation around the pool at night. Simone over filled the jacuzzi so it wasn’t working properly. There is a man that shows up at the breakfast area I have seen him before talking loud to paying customers Kinda annoying I think he is free loader. Almost forgot lot of drinking alcohol and smoking at and in the pool I have not experienced this at this hotel before not a family experience for the grandkids.

The wireless would not function in our room despite numerous attempts and assurances from the front desk. The room smelled of cigarette smoke when we arrived.

It was within walking distance to many nice restaraunts, but far enough from the road so it is quiet. Breakfast was excellent.

We have stayed at almost all the hotels in Fresno and some in Clovis. We started staying at the Cole about 8 years ago. We were very impressed because it was safe.
No druggies or homeless people lurking about to give us concerns. The Staff are so wonderful and friendly they have become our friends, and they treat everybody like good friends. Anything we need they jump on it to help take care of the issue. It's close to shopping and restaurants, some are walkable even to us old people. We have family nearby who are weclomed to visit and hang out. Their free breakfast is hot and varied, so that is terrific. The pool and hot tub is always clean- It a win win for us every time.

I was short some towels and soaps along with coffees for this 2 day stay…. However that being said all I did was request them and they were delivered..
