We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn. Express. Our room was clean and had a nice comfortable bed. The only drawback to the room was we paid for a king bed and they gave us a double Queen, which still worked out. So not a big deal and the blackout curtain in the bedroom would not shut all the way so the bright sun would wake us up every morning

The shower had cracks in the walls. There was no hot water for showers, at best it was luke warm. The key cards didn't work. The person working the front desk seemed frazzled and the only one working. He also mentioned other hotels in the area that were available when I mentioned they were the only one that came up in Biddeford.

Person at the front desk was not very friendly. I had been approved via phone for check out one hour later. When I mentioned it during check-in, he was not very friendly and denied me the additional hour. He agreed to an extra half an hour. At 11 AM. I got a knock on the door from cleaning asking me to leave.. I was approved until 1130. Pool was clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was dry and rubbery.

Very clean room though ceiling showing some wear...check in was 4 which I did not realize and showed up at 3 o'clock with room not ready..breakfast was good though several items not ready at 630 which was the start of breakfast..quiet rooms and quiet area for wonderful nights sleep!

breakfast...all tables dirty...no coffee...no staff until asking for someone...they just didn't care

Worst breakfast ever!!! Even the milk in the fridge was a 2 litter milk if you want some.

Overpriced for the quality. Bathroom had issues (toilet not secured, chipped bathtub paint, etc.) Getting into the bathroom was difficult because the door rubbed against the toilet. Sheets had odor. The staff was very helpful however so we appreciated that.

The staff was fine, not very friendly just there. Our room key stopped working in the middle of the day when we were out shopping. No reason for why they were deactived just gave us new keys. The whole floor smelled like pot even though we were on a non smoking floor. The smell was so strong that you got a headache as soon as you walked off the elevator. Staff knew of the issue but didnt know where it was coming from. I wont be staying there again.

The gentleman at the front desk was pleasant. The check in was quick & efficient. What I did not like was the rudeness of a female housekeeper. She was cleaning the main level near the bathrooms. I went in and used the men's room. I spent sometime in there due to a medical condition. When I opened the door to leave the housekeeper said something akin to "finally" or "thank God". As I shut the door to the bathroom she tells me "No no. Keep the door open (even though it was shut when I went in. Just a rude lady.

We stayed Friday-Sunday, we got a handicap room which was fine. However the hair dryer did not work, our tv was glitchy, and there was no microwave or fridge in the room. When we walked in the room smelt very strongly of perfume

The room was large and clean. The breakfast offered a variety of options. It was a bit of a rush to have it closed at 9:30.

When we checked in around 5:00 PM we were given keys to the room, but when we went upstairs the room was not ready and the staff were still cleaning it. We had to wait in the hall for around 10 minutes for them to be done. Also the pillows were extremely uncomfortable. They had no structure and basically collapsed as soon as you laid down on them. Location and price were fine for the occasion as it was only a one nit stay

Not much to say good, bad, or otherwise. Pretty run of the mill HI Express. Reasonably priced, good parking, easy to find, close to the interstate and clean.

We walked in and the guy at the desk was so rude! Telling us we were lucky he was letting us all in, it wasn’t check in time yet. It was 3:17 and my reservation says check in is at 3. When asked if he could try to put our rooms on the same floor he said”we don’t do that” he was so rude. We have been staying here a lot but not again!

We enjoyed the stay but felt a bit confused by the cleaning service. It seemed that we need to book the service. It is a good idea to let people know at the check in.

Second time I’ve stayed and will again . Enjoyed my time there room was so nice clean and comfortable staff was ok !

Room size was great, bed was very comfortable. Having pillow style (firm, soft) on the pillow case was a nice touch. Staff is very no-nonsense e.g. don't expect friendly banter (like "Welcome to Holiday Inn Express"). Early check-in not available, seems no one staffs the front desk between check-out time and check-in time. Nonetheless, I recommend this hotel for its comfort. I will stay here again on my next trip to the area.

Would have been great just wasn't happy to check into a 54 degree room at 9pm on a cold night which then took hours to heat up. Also door was unlocked and cracked open which made me feel uneasy.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel. It took a while for the attendant to come out of the back room when I arrived. He was abrupt, unfriendly, even rude. I had trouble signing onto the internet and had to go back to the desk a few times. Finally given the appropriate directions for internet I went back to the room. Every time I entered the room the smell of old awful perfume wharfed over me. The kind of smell that chokes you. It was awful. I opened a window to air out. It didn’t work. I tried to deal but started getting a bad headache. I turned the a/c on for air circulation. It only got worse. I couldn’t take it any longer. I’d been in the room less than 4 hours. I packed up and went back to the front desk. I told the attendant the smell had given me a headache and I couldn’t stay in the room. He said the smell is an eco friendly perfume corporate uses in all Holiday Inns. I asked for a refund. He initially said I could get 50 percent back.I was frustrated as it had been less than 4 hours. I wouldn’t have booked had I known about the perfume. The attendant didn’t care. He got annoyed and now said he couldn’t refund any money because I booked through Expedia. Sounded like a lie. I told him that’s fine and left. I contacted Expedia while still in the parking lot. Expedia said they had to call the hotel to request a refund. Payment had processed and only the Holiday Inn could refund. Holiday Inn refused Expedia’s request. The attendant had lied. Terrible hotel!

Excellent stay overall. Of note, front desk staff were very accommodating in handling some things for us. Great warm breakfast too, though no recycling available in breakfast area (for plastic cups, etc.)

The stay was wonderful and close to downtown.

The hotel itself is tucked away from the high that it’s nice and quiet. However the place was extremely short on staff and the doors to get in the rooms didn’t work. You’d have to turn the handle upwards and even then the door would get stuck halfway into opening it. Other guests had the same issue or worse their cards didn’t work at all.
