Totally rude desk clerk.

I booked a smoking room but was informed upon arrival that it is a non-smoking property. Isn't that called false advertising. The bed had mattress topper thankfully, because any pressure on the mattress was extremely uncomfortable. It looks like they are in the process of renovating. I say this because although there are picture hangers on the wall there are no pictures. There seemed to be a family bickering outside their room when we arrived. The greeting bordered on nasty. Also, prepare for a $100 hold on your credit card for several days even for a paid in full room. It's been 6 full days and the hold still hasn't been released.

Property is old. Room is sparse. Furniture old. Heat noisy, people smoking in chairs provided outside each door with ash trays. Exterior torn up artificial turf. Dangerous entries. In even ground. Not somewhere you would book twice.

Friendly staff that paid attention to your needs. Rooms are well kept and clean. It is a wooden structure so you can hear people walking on the floor above you. Other than that it is a great place to stay. Very enjoyable.

This property was misrepresented on Expedia com. The property had a 2.5 rating and has a reputation of being a terrible place from rude staff to unclean rooms. I went to another hotel after the front desk person was as rude and hung up on me.

The cost of over $240 for one night for a place that had a person who barely talked to us during check-in, NO coffee or breakfast offered, the door to our room had been broken in previously and you could see daylight through it!

To much money for a Motel 6 like room … over priced and in need of upgrades … tape in bath tub and outdated decor….

The check-in representative was not very friendly. The check-in representative seemed to be the hotel owner. The room was not well maintained, and the hotel didn't prepare four bath towels set, although we booked for 4 persons.

It is not too far from Portland and it was the most affordable option. Not to mention it was clean and tidy and me and my travel buddy felt safe.

Check in was quick and easy the man that checked me in was very nice and told me to have a great day and was very quick with the process

It was convenient. But no breakfast hairdryer was broken. Most outlets were dicey at best. Beds were ok. But minimal ok for one night. But overpriced. I would not have stayed here except nothing else was available. I would not stay here again.

Not as nice as pictures, but that is typical. A bare-bones facility but clean. No breakfast or iron/ironing board.

The gentleman working the tiny check-in office was not friendly at all, he was quite rude. The room was clean and pleasant. Unfortunately there was no iron or ironing board and when I went to the desk and asked for these they only had an iron, no ironing board. Overall, the room was fine for an overnight stay but I would not stay here again if I needed to stay more than one night.

Although the room was spartan (no pictures on wall) it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

What a waste of my money, this place was horrible . The room smelled so bad that we couldn’t sleep all night and the staff member that checked us in was so unprofessional.

First room we were given was not smoke free. When I asked for a new room there was no apology just a grumpy “Did you touch anything!”

Check in person was rude.. alot of liability to initial for. Additionally, the person let themselves in the room at 8am without knocking while we were still occupying the room. Their reason being to make sure we were stealing anything.

Very clean and handy to the area. The person on the desk was surly and not very helpful. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience

The man at the desk was just shy of rude. He acted like we were going to ruin the place. Kept telling us what was not allowed. When we checked out he had to go and inspect the room. I would never stay there again. It was all kind of creepy.

Do yourself a favor go down the street pay the extra $25 for the Holiday Inn. I had to spend the night in this area and came in very late. I did note this when I made the reservation. The apps says check/in till 2 am. Office was closed up has to call.Evidently woke up the guy running the office. He was very rude and nasty throughout the check in prices. Maine has a Covid for which I have never scene. He was very nasty when ever I asked a question. Rude when I try to explain I’m not staying in the state but one night.I checked a box wrong was rude again telling me he was going to call the state. Ugh just don’t stay here.. Room was clean but very dated. The only thing is the curtains didn’t close all the way. I had to hang a towel over the space otherwise you can see into the room. Just skip this one!!

The front desk was not really inviting or friendly. The vending machine was always sold out. The room was clean and bed was comfortable.

I know there's always a chance when you take the bottom floor that you're going to hear noises from the person above but this was absolutely ridiculous. Every step they took I thought they were coming through the ceiling. TV didn't work. Bed was hard as a rock. The guy at check-in never said hi. Just fill out the paperwork. Didn't say have a nice stay, didn't say we're here if you need us, pretty much couldn't wait to get me out of the office. This was after I had to ring the bell and wait for him to get there.

The manager was so grumpy! He told us he couldn’t provide coffee or ice due to COVID but every other motel we stayed at provided both and continental breakfast! I asked him about where we could get ice and he didn’t even bother answering! It was like he didn’t even want to be there! One shampoo and little soap with two towels! Never staying here again!

Easy check in. Nothing gancy here. Clean, reasonable rooms.

Our room had been smoked in. We could tell this was a common occurrence because the front desk person kept stressing not to smoke even though we had told him we are non-smokers. The owner was rude. Our ceiling was popping loudly all night. I'm not sure if that was someone walking around above us, but I couldn't sleep. The room was much too large for the furniture that was in it, and the bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast is just a selection of snack cakes. You have to ring a doorbell to be let into the main office. I would skip this place.

Friendly staff, very clean rooms, easy access to Portland attractions. Would stay there again.
