The stay was phenomenal. From the fantastic staff, cleanliness of the hotel and room. It was my husband’s birthday and he was so blown away with the convenience of things we needed being available for purchase right downstairs, the room with the view was breathtaking. Thank you to all the staff. Anything we needed we weren’t given a hard time and they checked in on us. I truly felt appreciated.

I was very disappointed since there were no extra privilege's for being a Diamond member. I also had rented a room for my family next door and they had an awesome view, breakfast, and reasonable priced bar.

Rooms were fresh after renovation, but unwelcome, crazy colors of the curtains, chair, table. Room was clean. However the property is old and walls are thin as paper.
At 3am our neighbors came back from the party and listened to music, we called the receptionist and she came to talk to them, as soon as she left-party started again. At 4:30am we called the reception again, same lady informed us: I’ve been there, they are just watching TV.
Haha, was it a joke?! Idk, but I asked to check on the neighbors again. Lady answered: okay, I will.
She came the second time, and apologized to my party neighbors in a way: I’m sorry, I know you told me that you are just watching TV, but people called, and I’m checking… I’m sorry.
She was so sorry and apologetic, so I’m not sorry for this review. Had to wait until 6am when party stopped, and we checked out at 10am.

We paid the fee for their parking garage but the card reader wouldn’t work.Had to call in every time we came or left. Also could hear the water pipes making odd noises when our neighbor would shower.

Very nice hotel, Spotless clean, Exceptional desk personnel. Very efficient and friendly!! If i had one recommendation, it is to provide bathmats in the bathtubs, the tubs are too slick and falling a real hazard.

Hotel lobby is really nice but the rest goes down hill from there. Not very clean elevators, roaches in our room.

No coffee in rooms. Front desk said they were out. Also Starbucks opens until 7am and they said don’t have coffee made.
Maintenance guy was dragging a ladder thru halls changing lightbulbs and banging on the walls.

Our stay was for one night. When we arrived at almost 4 there were still no rooms available to check into. We finally got a room about 25 minutes later and dropped our stuff to go and have a great time with friends. We realized in the morning that our room was missing a panel of curtain and when the sun came up well so did we as it was so bright. Also, the shower was hard to control and get the plug for the shower head.

The staff was very friendly and always helpful. Rooms are clean. Easy access to beach. Nice pool and hot tubs. This is a very nice place to stay on the island... will definitely use Hilton Garden Inn South Padre Island Beachfront for future visits to the beach.

The first thing I saw was the keurig in the room that really amazed me. The only thing that the hotel is lacking is a contiental breakfast many hotels around there have it. That would be the only downfall other than that everything was amazing.

We always enjoy our stay at the Hilton SPI! It’s super clean & the staff is always cleaning during the day! The short walk to the beach is awesome & the showers and sprayers outside on the way back from the beach make cleaning up easier. The pool is lovely, and I love that the hotel is pet friendly! My only 2 complaints are that the pillows really suck (so bring your own or request a couple extras to get more support) and breakfast isn’t included in the room price. With the in room fridge and microwave, we were able to bring our own breakfast items and skip going out (more beach time!) so not a biggie, but for the price, I think a meal should be included.
We keep coming back, though, so obviously it is a pretty great place.

We loved this place. The beach access was incredible as was the beach. We rented the beach chairs and umbrella, it was so nice. We will definitely be back!

Check in was easy overall clean but the mattress ws extremely uncomfortable and the area to take our dog to potty was infested with mosquitoes.

Just rating low because my room smelled like smoke and I told the front desk staff and basically was told oh well

My daughter woke up with bites all over. She didn’t have them when she went to sleep. I looked for bed bugs bud couldn’t see any. I’m not sure what was in that bed. The lamp light was out and that made looking at her bites and for the bugs harder.

We had a great vacation! The hotel was very clean, quite and comfortable. A great view at the ocean from the balcony. The room looked exactly like in their promotional picture. The stuff was professional and helpful. We'll certainly stay in Hilton Garden Inn during our next vacation
