On the water, nice view, tiki bar and restaurant (very busy), ability to rent a boat, kayak, jet ski.
Very little parking, Balcony door wouldn’t open, once management got it open, it would lock again. Room was old and dirty, spider webs, hair, dust. Tv is challenging along with a remote that has batteries held in with tape. Bathroom door wouldn’t latch. Fridge wouldn’t keep anything cold and microwave worked but the display was broken so you couldn’t see what it was doing. Bed was not comfortable, pillows are not comfortable. Shower had more water pouring down the wall than out of the shower head. Water was nice and hot though.

My daughter and I stayed one night as we were traveling through. Although the hotel is older and could use a little more fixing up, the bedroom and bathroom were clean, and the beds were very comfortable! Having a balcony gave us our own private window into the springs and we enjoyed watching the birds and the boats coming and going. There were a few manatee passing by in the morning to make our stay even better. There is a restaurant and Tiki bar right on the water and plenty of ecotours to book right on the property. If you enjoy nature this is a great place to stay. It’s not a flawless property but we will definitely return.

Great view, you have to understand it is an older hotel. I’ve been told Elvis stayed there. The bed was a little uncomfortable

Very quaint place to stay, room was old but comfortable. Looked out over the marina. Tiki bar at end of marina has great service and decent food

Excellent location and the restaurant, tiki bar and lounge made it very convenient for road weary travelers. We had some issues, trying to figure out the tv and our heating unit didn’t work, but the staff was very helpful and provided solutions for all. Note, this is an older eclectic hotel. Elvis stayed here!

It is old and shows, could use repairs but, it was very clean.
It is on the water and we saw manatee and dolphins right from our patio. A surprisingly wonderful restaurant next door. We had a wonderful time and would stay again.

I was very pleased with this resort. Was EXACTLY as described my some others. Older building, not in pristine condition. You can't beat the location!!! Overall i felt this was a great value!! I had dinner at the restaurant and went to Tiki bar. Both were nice, and menu just different vibe. Wish i had realized their water activity options ahead of time.

I booked this hotel because of it's location and bay views and it did not disappoint. Sunsets from the balcony were wonderful and 3 Sisters was walking distance. The restaurant adjoining the hotel was pretty good too. I heard this older hotel will be demolished in a couple years. Sad to see this icon of "old Florida" go, only to be replaced with a more expensive and less soulful hotel. I'm glad we were able to stay here before modernization encroaches. .

Tv didn’t work went to front desk she ask my room number I told her she said okay I can fix it came up pushed a button picture came in i was watching the Super Bowl less than 2 minutes left tv went out again never came back on had to listen to it on my phone it went into overtime missed it

The faucet sink in our room was very difficult to use and to maintain a reasonable temperature. Also, the television would not work properly and only provided sound.

It was a very old hotel, but the room was clean and it's in a fantastic location on the water with a tiki bar and a very good restaurant .

Loved the location and the view at this very old, dated hotel. The the beds were comfy enough but mattresses stained and needing covers or replacement. Linens were thin and sub par. Sparse decor and furnishings need replacement and updating. All this being said, I did not come to see the hotel. I came to see the manatees which I did. This hotel was adequate for our purposes. I will be back when they’ve had a chance to update a bit!

The location is fabulous I can except this is an older motel but things should still work The A/C did not work on a 80 degree day we were given a fan to stay cool there was no hot water The TV was spotty at best the bed were very old and uncomfortable. We were limited on where we could stay since we have a dog

We loved the balcony overlooking the water. It was so beautiful! We saw dolphins and manatees.

Older hotel but room clean and comfortable bed. Staff very supportive. Great window view of Kings Bay and Marina, and nice patio attached to room with private door.
Attached restaurant is Waterfront Social. Food and atmosphere was great.

Charming and quiet hotel on the water with bar/restaurant on premises. Beautiful location/view in the middle of "the action" in the Crystal River area. Old building, breakfast was "Sam's Club" type donuts, but it worked for us.

Cool old retro 60s waterfront motel (Elvis slept here) looking out over King Spring and bird-haunted Banana Island, with a surprisingly good restaurant on site. A classic Florida vibe, harder and harder to come by.

it is a nice old florida hotel with great views, just a bit out dated, but to be fair we travel a lot and have found a lot of mom and pops which we like have let the property go a bit after covid. still a great place to spend a few days enjoying nature

If you like Old Florida, King's Bay is always is a hit. The building we were in was old and definitely could use some upgrades and repairs, but nothing too terrible. The restaurant on sight was really good, with lots of locals enjoying the sunset.
