The room was beautiful. We stayed in a room with a king size bed. There was everything you would need too stay for a bit, a kitchen and a table. The outdoor pool or pools were closed but the indoor one looked nice. It was very clean, updated and the mattress was comfortable. I would say the only negative was the heating/ air conditioning unit. It was a little loud when it came on and turned off, but were only there 1 night and didn't have a chance to see if we could just always have it on.

Hotel is beautiful. However, there is only AC OR HEAT for the hotel. So, it was miserable at night. So hot. And although the pool is “salt water” the chlorine smell in the pool area was very strong. Hotel is very nice, updated and modern. The issue with the room is you can hear everything above you and from the room next door. It is as if the walls and ceiling are made of paper. Every footstep, and conversation can be heard.
Hemmingway restaurant was nothing special. Again, looks nice but their Saturday buffet breakfast was about as basic as it gets. The bloody Mary I ordered was horrible. It tasted like shrimp cocktail. I was hoping that they made a mistake and put cocktail sauce in instead of tomato juice, but was told that was their normal recipe. It was just awful.
Hotel is about a 15-20 min walk into the heart of the town.

Nice hotel, clean, reasonable rate. Great bar. Restaurant ok, dinner hade a snafu, breakfast was fine. Nice location across from beach

The hotel itself was amazing. Nestled right on the beach and we had a spectacular view. I would’ve loved bathrobes for the winter time since we came in the off season or some heads up that the onsite restaurant would be closed. That being said, the front desk staff Jenny and the other young woman with blonde hair were amazing! They went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice overnight trip. Thank you both for being fabulous!

The customer service area was beautiful. The rooms not so much. This was supposed to be an accessible hotel, while they did have a ramp, the room has a big step. We have a son in wheelchair and thankfully we travel with a portable ramp. But for those people that dont have that, it will be very hard and difficult to get to the room unless they have a wheelchair that closes and they can be carried inside the room. The shower was not that good. Bed was ok

Not sufficient parking, could hear every step the people in the room above us took. Toilet had to be flushed multiple times not enough water pressure, gap under door, so a little pricey. Stay in the main building if possible.

The staff was phenomenal, pleasant, courteous vey helpful. They felt fresh, honest, happy to be of service and happy to be at work. Kudos to the night manager, best treatment ever by a hotel manager!!!

While my stay was fine, the staff at the front desk made an error in billing. From that error it was one excuse after another. So much for customer service.

Beautiful hotel from the outside but could be better from the inside. The outside entry feels a bit motel like and isn’t great in the rain. Kids were running around yelling on the Sundeck at late hours. Curtains were broken and stained, looked like globs of toothpaste were stuck to them. Fridge was so noisy I had to shut it off to be able to sleep. Good luck finding parking on busy weeks.

My wife & I visited CapeMay for the 1st time at Christmas & was pleasantly surprised. The Grand Hotel had beautiful decorations inside!

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand! Can’t wait until next year. The only thing I will change is getting a room on the top floor. While the ground floor was convenient with children, I could hear a lot of people partying. And although I’d like to be partying with them, I have a baby.

It was my first time at the Grand Hotel. I picked them out of nearby comparables hotels for the wifi access. Check-in was speedy and friendly, as was checkout. The room was super clean and bright. Definitely worth returning too.

My wife and I decided to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary in Cape May . We stayed at the Grand Hotel and it was an excellent hotel . The service was great . The room was extremely clean and the hotel restaurant served us a memorable meal . Definitely recommend staying at the Grand Hotel when you are in Cape May

Very friendly staff. Clean room. The only downside is being do large you can hear people talking on the room above you and the doors opening and closing all around you. The pool is great for kids .

Although the room was nice and clean and everything in the room I needed.I was on the 4th floor and the first night as it was hot I tried to turn the air down for some reason it would not keep a temperature I barely slept I woke up sweating I went complained the next day and a maintenance person came to the room and said something to the effect of they were turning over to heat and I did get it back to cool but once again it would not hold a temperature he said to open a window which really didn’t help as I woke up numerous times again sweating and the heat was on and the room was 75 I don’t know of many people who keep there heat on 75 and being on the 4th floor it was miserable I would not stay there ever again

We were in a bi-level room, which was great for 4 people. There was a lot of space and 2 bathrooms. Plus there was a balcony with a lovely ocean view.

Great location. The 2 story townhouse was clean, comfy with plenty of room to work and relax. Having 2 full baths and small kitchen came in handy. View of the ocean was a plus. Having a restaurant and bar on site was conveinant. We did have an issue with brown water on the day of departure however the front desk was very responsive.

Everything was terrific except one of the beds was a leaner to one side. Except for that it was five star.

We had gone to Cape May for a baby moon. The staff is exceptional and the hotel is nice. I feel the breakfast at Hemingway’s was better then the dinner. The room was nice except the mantle when the tv is was crooked and needed to be leveled. The room was also aesthetically pleasing; however, the bed was beyond uncomfortable and my husband and I were up every 45 minutes because we couldn’t get comfortable. I debating leaning a day early due to the uncomfortableness of the bed but we would not receive a refund so we stayed.
