Room was so tiny, I could barely walk around in it. Bathroom was nice. Staff were fairly friendly. Lobby cold

The staff was excellent but the rooms are lacking a closet, drawers, and a comfortable bed.

Lots of amenities in the lobby area, the room was very clean. I liked the small directional light beside the bed. Only downside is with the modern aesthetic of hard floors, you hear a lot more from neighbors. Would still stay here again!

No microwave in room. No bathroom fan. No freezer in mini fridge.

Has high hopes due to the number of positive reviews and the fact that it was new. Location was good and building appeared new but it doesn’t go much further than that. We arrived to an “ok” room but didn’t look as new as the hotel itself. Às we started unpacking we noticed the bed looked like it was just tidied up rather than reset with new sheets so it didn’t look “fresh.” As I sat on the bed I noticed something behind the clock and saw that it was a pack of condoms…strike one. Then I pulled back the covers and what was right in the center…a huge p____c hair. That’s it! Back to the front desk and she were very nice and gave me another room. This room was much better and actually looked “new” and fresh. Breakfast bar was adequate and what you would expect from the usual free hotel breakfast. If we didn’t have the experience with the first room I might be ok staying here again but can’t say I would again after that unfortunately. You are also very close to the airport so expect that level of noise throughout the night.

When i arrived at the hotel the young man in the front was very nice. He explained to me pretty much everything I needed to know. I love the fact that they have board games and a pool table and we were able to use the pool next door. When we got to our room it was nice however when my daughter went to go take a shower there was hair on the walls. To me that is gross especially when I'm traveling with my children. To top it all off the towels has imbedded hairs in them which was extremely gross we ended up getting out own towels which I was super angry about with the fear that all towels had that. 3 out of 4 of our towels had hairs in them. The staff is super friendly. I did not like the fact that they give you two small tiny trash cans and with eating food and 3 kids it gets filled up pretty quick and they only come to your room every other day. The breakfast was really good I didn't eat the eggs but they had this turkey sausage which was great the pancakes, oatmeal was excellent. overall i would stay again if i ever came back to Maine. walking distance to the mall, Starbucks, chipotle and cracker barrel.

Great hotel and location. But some staff could smile more in the mornings, letting you feel welcomed instead of feeling like its interrupting them.

Everything was perfect! Look the eco friendliness. Made me try harder to be green. Breakfast good too!

When we entered our room, we saw a full garbage can and a bed with its sheets in a heap. It had not been cleaned. We told the desk clerk, who gave us another room. The new room was clean, but the door did not lock on the bathroom. The next morning I used the public restrooms on the main floor as the bathroom in our room was busy. I tried both bathrooms, and neither one of them had doors that locked. I had to move the large garbage can up against the door to make sure no one would come in. The other issue was the room was advertised as two queen size beds, yet both beds were clearly double. Overall, not a good experience and we don’t plan on staying here again.

Very clean and surprisingly quiet considering where the hotel is located. Loved the pancake conveyer belt. We stay in overnight in South Portland before early morning flights. If you can grab a discounted rate, this hotel would be hard to beat.

Close to Maine Mall
