We loved everything from this hotel from the easy check in to the room layout and space it had. I was surprised to have almost a full kitchen in this room and the 2 king size beds were a perfect fit for our group. Beds were so comfortable and we lived having 2 separate tvs and areas to watch the tv that way kids can watch their stuff and adults can watch theirs. Love everything about this hotel!!! Haven’t made it to breakfast yet but I am sure I will not be let down.

I was able to move to a quieter room my second night easily, very accommodating.

This place was the definition of 3 stars, max. The bathroom sink drained super slowly in a gross way, the ice bucket was broken, the bathroom door didn’t close (like couldn’t close - there was no hole to receive the latch), the sofa bed was stained and crappy, the soaps in the shower were all completely empty, there were stains on the carpet, you can’t do Netflix or whatever on the tv, the pillows were all different, the hvac system made a loud jackhammer noise constantly and throughout the night (we thought it was construction on the sidewalk below at first). None of these issues is horrifying in and of itself but combined they really gave a haphazard and kind of iffy/icky impression. If details like above were tended to, it would drastically improve the experience. And, the front desk staff were great, the continental breakfast was sufficient, it was easy enough to park, good and pretty safe location near the mall, restaurants, and the freeways. I’m not sure where the 9.2/10 Expedia rating came from-that’s high given our experience.

Hotel was great, bed was uncomfortable. Really struggled to sleep.

Great hotel for a long stay. Great location. Attractive decor, very pleasant dining area, good breakfast, friendly. Large television - only disappointment - not a lot of channels - often there's not much on. would like to see them add Netflix for a streaming option.

This hotel is located in a nice area for a good price. It’s a short drive to basically anything. The staff was all very friendly, and everything was always clean.

Clean, comfortable, and spacious. Wonderful room, pleasant lobby area. Great access to Southdale mall for shopping and dining, with easy freeway access.

This was a great property with a fantastic staff! Rooms are very clean and large. Breakfast, delicious with lots of options!!

There was an imprint of someone's butt on the headboard. I think I'm done staying at hotels forever.

Had hair in the shower floor - kinda yucky but everything else was GREAT! We would stay there again!!

Really enjoyed the area and how close it was to many food options. Safe and nice area. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. One thing that could be improved is cleaning of the room more often, would have appreciated having garbages emptied , beds made, recycling emptied and additional single serve coffee tabs.

The room was a bit cold with the loss of heat through the deck door. Otherwise it was just fine

This was a very clean, great amenities, warm environment, etc. hotel. Wonderful breakfast and workers. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone coming to the area. Thank you for your hospitality.

Staff was very kind

Everyone was helpful, kind and positive.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and it usually does not disappoint. The staff is friendly and very accommodating, especially Cam and Nick. However, I had a few things missing in my room this time. I had no conditioner in the shower, called the front desk, and she said someone would restock but no one ever came. Also, the breakfast used to be better. Very little protein this time, and biscuits and gravy is not a breakfast option. But I guess that's just the current economic climate.

Great for longer stays with sofa and kitchenette. My one suggestion for improvement would be to offer common streaming service like Netflix and/or Amazon Prime. Also one addition would be to add a 2nd lamp for reading on the sofa.

Was very clean and safety was hotel priority. Free parking was nice and the mall next door allowed for places to eat and walk around.

Great location for shopping and good dining options. The staff that checked us in was amazing. Friendly, informative.

I did not like they tried to charge me a 50.00 upgrade charge. I did not upgrade my room but it was on my bill when checking out.

Very spacious suite. Me and my family were comfortable in our room. The pool was huge and the pool area was warm which made it easy to get in the water with my kids.

we really enjoyed our stay at the Homewood Suites, Edina, MN. The staff was as friendly as I can remember for a Hotel. Really good people, naturally interacting with the guests. The area of our stay that surprised me a little was that the breakfast was a little lack luster. I would give it a 6.5 out of 10. The Hot food items is what seemed a little off. Round egg and sausage. The eggs were just so so and the sausage didn’t look browned in how it was cooked. Boiled in a bag or something like that. It didn’t look as appetizing. Maybe it was good, but I didn’t try it due to the appearance. I would still give this hotel a 9 out of 10 overall due to all of the other positives going for this property.
