Stayed there 2 weeks! Friendly staff like a family. Great rooms always clean and they take good care of you. Better than your typical hotels. Thank you everyone!

Good Location for a short stay in Havanna, near bus station snd taxi. Realy quiet and with nice

A gem in Havana, the house is named after a sweet tree in the garden. Three guest rooms for now but they are expanding to six rooms next year with a small spa and yoga classes. The personal attention from Celine, Matteo and their staff is priceless. Nicely decorated rooms with private bathrooms, the shower even had water jets! The breakfast had a powerful cereal boost, toast with cheese (but you can ask for anything they have available) and fresh fruit. After hitting the town, you return home to this cool place where a good conversation is easy to start, if you need one. They have a blue Cadillac and run a two hour city tour which is fabulous. They are planning to organise beach excursions in Cadillacs next yeer. Matteo and Celine are so friendly that we felt at home. You won’t get any better value for money. Will definitely stay here again, when back in Havana

This place was gorgeous! Our room was very clean and was cleaned every day while we were out. Our hosts provided us with tips on what to do and helped us configure our trip. The breakfast was delicious in the mornings for a small fee. Overall, I highly recommend this stay!

Our Habana trip started at the airport w a bang when we jumped into Matteo and Celine's immaculately restored Dodge convertible for a ride to their beautiful house. Under the shade of a massive Chirimoya tree, their home feels like a jungle sanctuary, giving shade to the giant windows of our 2nd Flr room. Their house is in Barrio Cerro walking distance to La Plaza de la Revolucion, Central Habana, Habana Veijo and Vedado. A quiet area of familys and schools, Corona Cigar factory, Estadio Latinoamericano and a lovely walk to cemetery Necropolis Cristobal Colon. Their immediate neighbor is the Rivera Studio. An art gallery and work space that features outsider art. Owners William and Derbis are amazing people who have created a venue and support for seldom celebrated artists with physical or mental handicaps. Incredible. We felt very safe and completely at home in Cerro and in Habana everywhere we went. Though the Cerro is very tranquil, completely devoid of the exhausting tourist hustle that you will encounter in Central and Veijo. Their neighborhood is flanked by larger avenues with groceries, restaurants and you can flag a taxi to anywhere. Matteo and Celines house felt like our own home (but much cleaner). They had meals available, wifi, coffee, beer, an amazing roof top patio, refrigerator and stove..everything needed. AND the BEST SHOWER in CUBA! They also offer trips in their fabulous car to countryside or beach. Fantastic hosts! Amazing home! Highly recommended!!

The Residence and hosts are wonderful. Very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. It is located in the residential area so if you do not mind walking, or plan to take Taxis, this spot is perfect. I really felt like home during my stay at Albero Dulce's

This property is exactly what we were looking for. Matteo and Celine took care of us very well and helped us out with booking buses and brought us on a great tour of Havana in their beautiful soft top dodge. We were even taken to a local night club to get an authentic Cuban experience. It was perfect for us and made for a great holiday in Cuba. The country is beautiful and the locals are so friendly. Thank you to our hosts and we would recommend the property to anybody

The property is in excellent condition and position to Havana.This is made apparent when you become aware of Cuba and the capitol. The host family were nothing but considerate and caring , providing home cooked meals at my request and dietary needs provided for (as far as possible given the food challenges inCuba)I never went without and was cooked local specialities, delicious at a totally reasonable price . The Daughter of the family , who spoke fluent English, ensured I found my way around and acted as a guide when I needed but also as a wonderful companion on occasion. I also benefitted from being invited to evenings out at the ballet and the infamous Factory Art, enjoying the best Rhumba lessons, Cuban dancing and music. Being at this Casa made my trip extra special.

Residencia is a very nice place to stay! The rooms are comfortable and clean! The owners are incredibly kind and will help you out wherever they can. The location is a little far from Havana Vieja the old centre. But with a taxi ride you are there in no time, you can walk it, but it is a bit far. The only thing I would say, I did not like that much, was the fact that the breakfast was a little expensive when we got the bill at the end. But overall I would definitely recommend this place! 1

Myself and my partner stayed at the Alberto Dulce. It's a lovely place, with fantastic hosts. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone that wanted to stay in the area. The room was large, well appointed, well designed and very clean. Our suite had a kitchenette, living room, dining room and great bathroom.
