Great room, a lot of traffic noise. The ice maker in freezer did not work. We did not need a whole lot of ice anyway. Overall a really good room.

My SO could not drive back to the Dallas area on Monday night due to the bitter freeze, so we booked an additional night at Candlewood. The service was excellent! The room was clean! We’ve stayed here before and it never fails to satisfy us.

Booked the room, got there, they had no rooms. They do not update their system nor care to, they are not helpful at all when it is their mistake.

Had signs stating cars were not safe there. Website were I secured the rooms said they served breakfast - they did not. We had to buy food there at more than twice the rate of a restaurant.

Great place to stay while visiting family. Had small issues while there. No towels in our bathroom and found a single shoe in closet in our room. Other then that is was a good stay.

Unclean room. Every surface was dirty. Dishes were dirty in dishwasher, we were not able to use the kitchen area as it was all dirty.

When we checked in to our first room the smell was AWFUL. I complained to the front desk staff and they moved us but the second room did not smell very good either. We bought febreeze and that helped a little. We also were not told that they were an extended stay as it is not advertised anywhere so housekeeping doesn't come if you arent staying more than 7 days due to them being an extended stay. Overall we were not happy with the stay and probably wont stay there again.

The hotel had a strong oder of smoke as we walked into the lobby. Then our room also had the smoke oder. When we showed water ran all into the bathroom. We had to use the towels to dry the floor. The bed was comfortable.

The room next to us decides to entertain us at all hours of the night by fighting and cursing. We had a wonderful rendition of "I'm tired of you gaslighting me." To a 3am verion of "I'm so tired of you."

Floor of the room was filthy and there was old food on the floor. No cell service. The phone in the room didn’t work. There was no remote for the tv. I felt unsafe at the property and left in less than 2 hours and drove down the road to another hotel. Do NOT stay at this Candlewood.

Pool was dirty/ bathtub was extremely filthy..had to clean it ourselves, food crumbs left in the room, AC not working, rooms had a bad smell-musty, sheets were dull looking..
very disappointing for the price...would NOT recommend to anyone or stay there again..very gross

The Suite was so nice We loved the kitchenette area, my husband and I were able to fix breakfast without having to buy it.
We had a small incident in the first room we had and they didn't hesitate to give us with another room. They apologized for the inconvenience .
Overall , everything was nice and the staff was very helpful.
I am going to stay there again when I go back to Sann Antonio, TX.

Room was full of ants and it had a bad smell. Was transferred to a different room but smaller even though I had paid for something bigger and spacious

The first room we went to wasn't cleaned out, the second room had missing furniture. The front staff was rude and showed no concern. The pool water was dirty and the area around the pool, there was dog poop everywhere. I felt unsafe

The property was okay if you don't care about eating out. The staff did help me with early check-in, which was greatly appreciated. Ice maker did not work, hair dryer died and they didn't have a spare. Smoker smell in the common areas although the room smelled okay.

Late arrival, front doors were locked. Had to ring bell for front desk. Stood outside fas bell wasn’t working so had to wait for someone at desk to see me out side. Key card wouldn’t work to room, even after replacing. Desk clerk had to physically let us in our room. Room smelled of cigarettes with air freshener. Not the best experience. Would not stay here again or recommend.

I had a room on the east side facing I35.
I could not sleep. The noise from outside was terrible.
It was inconvenient because you had to go around I35 to get to tge restaurants.

The hotel cut the water off while we were there and said there was a problem with the water in the whole city.
the bathtub had rust stains and the smoke alarm went off in the room for no reason. There was one light switch that controlled all the electricity for the room. The water was turned off for two days with no notice given to the customers.

This place was perfect. Staff is amazing, they are all kind and super helpful with anything you need. The pool is great! We were in it every single day! Parking is great. Just overall super satisfied with our stay. :)

My truck was broken into and property stolen. Common for San Antonio area though. Wouldn’t say this location is any worse than any other.

The front desk agent was super nice and helpful! I wish I could remember his name. This is a comfortable, clean hotel with nice sized rooms. It's on the freeway, but we just put white noise on our phones and slept fine!

When we arrived checking in was fast, got to our room and at first it looked clean until I started looking in the drawers and trash baskets, In the drawer found condoms and in the trash found cigarette box. Asked for a room change and went from king to a queen bed which was ok till I found no shower curtain liner. Had water all over since the cotton curtain moved all over. And the room had a slight odor which we finally got used to. On the bright side bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.

This Candlewoods Suite is AMAZING!! The hotel was clean, beautifully furnished, QUIET, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable! Will be back at the end of March!!!

The room was nice and the property was decent. The walls are paper thin and our neighbor played loud music 3 of the 4 nights which was very frustrating. The pull out couch was also very uncomfortable. The downstairs little store was super convenient and the gym was nice. Stay was fine, but I would choose to stay elsewhere next time overall
