It was a wonderful stay. The owners are nice people. The services were up to expectations at the price paid. The food was really good. They also provided me with complimentary tea everyday. Private bathroom with Geyser facility. A must visit for all specially solo travelers. The older people may face some difficulty in climbing the uphill road.

My stay at Dukeraj Homestay was an unforgettable experience! Host Dipanita and her lovely mom (my aunty) were incredible hosts who provided exceptional hospitality throughout my stay. Accommodation The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The beautiful windows provided natural light to the room and allowed the guests to enjoy the scenic view of Darjeeling. I appreciated the hot water facility and the comfortable beds that ensured a good night's sleep. Food The food amazed me. The local food prepared by Dipanita's mom was delicious and authentic. Being a foodie, I could not resist having a serving of everything from the local cuisine. It was a delight to see them use special ingredients, which is also from the hills Hospitality The hospitality of the hosts was beyond commendable. They greeted and welcomed me warmly, always ensuring my comfort and safety. They provided insightful local advice and helped us plan our itinerary. Dipanita and her mom were always available and attentive to our needs, and it was a pleasure interacting with them. Overall, I would highly recommend Dukraj Homestay to anyone looking for a comfortable and authentic stay, and I look forward to visiting this homestay again on my next trip to Darjeeling. There is nothing you can't like about them . They are super perfect .

A bit removed from the centre of Darjeeling, DukeRaj is a quite spot to explore Darjeeling from. The hosts made us feel welcome and answered our questions helpfully and made us a delicious breakfast. We also had a spectacular view of Kanchenjunga on the one morning when it wasn't cloudy.

The 15 minute walk to the main street through the endless traffic and pollution of Darjeeling got a bit tiring after a few days but it was the price of being in a quieter area. One of her dogs seemed to really hate us, barking whenever we came near, but they always kept it on a lead and we were perfectly safe. Our breakfast was delicious but the prices in the room (and on our booking confirmation) were out of date.

Breakfast was simple but quite suitable for our needs. The electric blankets were at an extra cost but much needed for the very cold environment. The hosts were very helpful with local attractions and directions.

The steep stairs to the property were a bit difficult but I took my time and the handrail was very helpful.

The host is very friendly and kindness family. They are giving warm hospitality and local foods. Especially I enjoyed a meal. Host is very cheerful. They taught me about their neighbor and family. I learned about Darjeeling a bit and enjoyed a lot.
