We are in love with this place! It is quiet and private, very green with plants and flowers, with warm water in a pool. The apartments are spacious and comfortable, with a lovely terrace. The atmosphere is relaxing and calm. The nearest restaurant 5 min walking. 15- 20 min walking and you are at marina with yachts, shops, cafes and market. The owner Mr.Kargin is super helpful, attentive and easy going. We had an amazing time with our family! Hoping to come back one day :)

We suggest to bring some detergent with you for a washing machine and dishes. Or you can buy it at the nearest shop (5 min away).

We travel across Turkey every year, and I just want to say to Abdourahman-bey - bravo! Supreme hospitality and service.

We had a wonderful few days at Sun Garden. Abdul Rahman was very friendly, good command of English and gave great advice of where to go, eat and shop. Accommodation was super clean, bathroom and kitchen fully fitted including a washing machine. Bed was comfortable and the outdoor!! Beautiful fruit and veg garden, and you allowed to help yourself to tomatoes, cucumber and aubergines. Swimming pool and outdoor seating areas to relax. Conveniently located in Yalıkavak with plenty of parking. If we ever come back to this part of the world we would stay here again.

Excellent facilities for a holiday with family (or friends), especially when self-catering is important. The kitchen is well equipped. Very clean rooms. The grounds are beautiful, very well looked after, lovely flowers. Beautiful vegetable garden. The swimming pool was great - good size, cleaned every day, pleasant water, the family used it every day. Five-star facilities with a six-star service. Mr Kargin and his staff were so friendly, kind and responsive. We much appreciated this. We would love to come back one day!

I am going to Bodrum for the first time, and to be honest, I loved the area very much, and the owner of the hotel is very nice. The hotel is nice, friendly and very quiet.

Comfortable apartment with great facilities. The pool was very nice and surrounding quiet providing sound sleep and rest. The owner was super helpful making our stay to feel as we are home

The owner of this hotel is very welcoming and really helps to make our vacation more comfortable and nice. He responded quickly to all of requests. For example, we asked for a cezve, as we wanted to make Turkish coffee by our own (you can buy coffee in a local supermarket). As I need to have a COVID PCR test before flight to the U.S., Mr. Kargin organized the visit to the clinical laboratory in Bodrum. Also, he helped with taxi from/to airport and the city of Bodrum. There are several beaches (one public and several commercial), a supermarket and small shops near by the hotel and Thursday market in old part of the village (very tasty fruits and vegetables!). But also, you can pick some fresh vegetables directly from his garden! Fresh and organic!

Plenty spacious, clean and functional apartment with a balcony for our 5-person family. Lovely gardens on the property - maintained with love and add a certain personality to the site. Shared pool was perfect (kids were in there every day) and the chill area (perfect for reading and napping) next to the pool is an added bonus. Owner extremely friendly and helpful. Location - ideal.

Apartment kitchen didn't have any basics like dish soap, cooking oil, salt/pepper, etc, so you have to buy all of it in whatever quantity the store has and then you end up leaving it/throwing it out. Feels wasteful. Also, the second toilet in the apartment was strange - no door (only partial glass panel) to divide it from the master bedroom. Though convenient to have the second toilet and shower with 5 people in the apartment, it felt like a sliding door should be the minimum.

A small oasis off the main roads, Sun Garden Apart Hotel has an amazing atmosphere with an incredibly helpful and friendly host family under the patronage of Khargin. The location is close to two public beaches as well as a very affordable beach club. Many top-notch seafood restaurants are in walking distance, as is the popular Marina. We stayed with our two year old and our in-laws, and we had more than enough space and a great time. We would come again in a heart-beat!

Everything from how comfortable and clean our apartment was; beautifully maintained garden full of flowers, plants, fruit trees and vegetables; to the owner's hospitality and wish to make us comfortable. This is an example how family fun business should be and we highly recommend the Sun Garden to anyone coming to Yalikavak. Thank you Sun Garden for a wonderful week!

There wasn't anything we didn't like, everything was just perfect!

Other guests will have listed the many positives about Mr. Kerim and Sun Garden. I will add only this: During our stay at the Sun Garden my 12-year-old daughter was stung by an Asian Hornet. The pain was so severe that eight hours after the sting she was barely coherent and absolutely unable to sleep. Mr. Kerim took my daughter and my wife and me, in his own car, to a private hospital some 15 minutes away from the hotel. We left at about 11:30 P.M. At the hospital my daughter received immediate, first-class treatment from a doctor and nurse. In less than an hour our daughter after an IV and anti-hornet poison medicine she was her happy, fun-loving self. Although the facility and its staff was first-rate, treating my daughter there would have been absolutely impossible without Mr. Kerim's presence. This is because the hospital staff, although obviously competent, spoke little to no English. Mr. Kerim not only assisted and translated throughout, but identified a price reduction we were qualified for, which reduced our bill by about 20 percent. We returned to the hotel at about 1 A.M.: Mr. Kerim had a very short night as he had guests departing at 3 A.M. The Sun Garden is an outstanding value for the money and I recommend it to anyone looking for a small, family-run hotel with fully adequate facilities and personal service. But beyond that, the owner and manager of the Sun Garden, Mr. Kerim, without batting an eye, left his home in the middle of the night to take a little girl and her very worried parents to emergency room, and personally made sure a potentially disastrous travel experience ultimately ended well. Anyone on the fence about Sun Garden or someplace else might ask himself: how many hotel owners, anywhere, would do that for a guest? If there ever was a hotelier that deserves your business, I suggest it is Mr. Kerim of the Sun Garden Yalikavak.
