I LIKED NOTHING IN THIS HOTEL.

The experience was very bad. The hotel is far away from the city centre, but very costly. It is untidy and common bathrooms are just beside the dinning table & not maintained according to the money they charge. And above all, the behaviour of the stuffs are extremely bad. They do not Co-operate at all & very harsh to the guests... It is a complete waste of money.

Food is good and manageable. The outside lawn and complex area is generally clean

1. Booking issue: The hotel asks for separate booking. Once booked through Booking.com, the hotel takes overs and contacts the customer to run a parallel booking system which is different from the app policies. Leads to lots of misunderstandings and inconvenience 2. Confirmation assurance: The hotel asks for 50% upfront payment within 24 hours for assurance from the customer should turn up. Very much like asking money at gun point. This is really annoying and inconvenient 3. Cancellation policies: Since they run parallel bookings, the hotel try to impose their own cancellation policies rather than Booking.com policies 4. Billing system: Have not received any complete bill of the booking. Money has been transferred without complete invoice 5. Room service: The room service is very unresponsive. No change of bed sheets and cleaning. I stayed there for three days, cleaning was done only once 6. Drinking water supply: Felt like staying in a desert! During my three days stay they supplied only 2 litres of water. The remaining times had to purchase bottled water. Also there is no drinking water accessibility in the rooms 7. COVID rules: Through the roof! no masks and daily sanitisation 8. Lastly, not a proper hotel at all; a residential complex turned into makeshift lodge with improper facilities and unprofessional staff

The location is good, serene and in the outskirts of Santiniketan, away from the town bussles The property is clean with ample parking space and walking area. It's basically an apartment complex with all studio apartments turned into guest houses by owners who would like to rent away, and managed by a central team. Central restaurant is good with friendly staff and timely service

The rooms could have intercom with reception Wish the parking lawn was better maintained Wish there were elevators in the buildings An eye hole in the door was necessary The pillows were pathetic, thin and insufficient numbers, they need to give far better pillows.

The breakfast was pretty ordinary.

No wifi facilities, no room heater and furthermore the location is a bit of a problem. It is a little out of the main attraction of Shantiniketan. And I did not expect the rooms to be in the midst of a housing complex, as a part of the flats within a complex.
