It was located in a section of San Diego that was very convenient to the business I was conducting as well as the beach

Very disappointing!!!!! We have always been happy with La quinta hotels but this one was the pits. We reserved 2 rooms for 4 nights. One of our rooms smelled like cigarette smoke so they gave us a new room and it smelled worse, like sewer and there were towels on the bathroom floor like maybe they were cleaning up a mess. The 3rd room was fine but the whole hotel was not super clean and smelled old and musky. No water fountains to fill up water bottles, not even in the gym. Only one ice machine in the parking garge. The 2nd night there the toilet in our room was reallt slow to flush. We called down to get maintenance and they told us no one was there to help. Needless to say we were not impressed.

I was disappointed with the area. This hotel has a strange confined narrow entrance on a concrete hill. Its depressing to look at. I came to san diego to have surgery and when I pulled up to the hotel, I immediately felt unsafe. There isnt any place to walk. No place to walk dog. All parking is underground. We immediately cancelled our reservation and did not stay here. I needed a place that was uplifting as i would be recovering from surgery.

The location was on a top of a hill in an industrial area, homeless close by next to open garage. Room looks run down

The person at customer service was excellent. The room was clean but had an odd smell. Parking is terrible and the parking garage was not safe due to homeless

We stayed in this hotel for two nights and it was really disappointing considering we paid about $165 per night. In a nutshell here is how it went: upon arrival it was hard to park since access is tight since it’s underground the building. The ladies that clean the rooms were load in the morning and were yelling when communicating within them selves and their walky talkies were at full volume. In part we selected this place because it offered breakfast. Today the second day before we left we went to have a quick bite and found out there the area where they have scrambled eggs was empty and no bacon either. I asked one of the employees if they were going to bring more out and she seemed bothered just by me asking and said we are out and turned around and left. There was still 1.5 hours before the advertised end time. Very disappointing and would never stay there again. If these items are important to any guests think twice about staying in this place.

Not a terrible place but definitely needs some upgrades. And Breakfast is kinda weak for a continental breakfast. Wasn’t terrible but could have been better.

It is convenient location, quiet, clean, free parking, nice free breakfast (would love it more if it has more variety of food selections on different day). The room looks modern with nice big TV with cable channels. Beds are comfortable.

I asked to get a wake up call. I awoke at 6 raced to the airport and missed my flight. I never got a call. It was very upsetting on a long flight to NY.

A well-run hotel which was convenient getting around San Diego area, but needed my GPS to get to hotel EVERYTIME. Parking is good. Breakfast was very nice. I would stay in this hotel again for the price.

It was a last minute booking as the hotel I regularly stay at was fully booked. The hotel was a bit worn but clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful, however there was limited interaction. The breakfast was OK, good to have something to eat but very basic. Overall it was good value for the cost.

The gentleman at the lobby was friendly and professional. The room was clean; maybe it’s been remodeled fairly recently. Bed wasnt bad but not conducive to a good night’s rest. I did not like the location, at least not for myself. The lobby is tucked in, not really visible from the side streets. The street was dark and the building was too. Lacked brightness but the rate was good. And what I assume was sanitation trucks picking up containers rolled in pretty early; heard them under my window.

Stay was good. Room was good, but the washroom needs an upgrade. Vanity looked old and wooden legs were all banged up and chipped. Ceiling in the shower needs to be repainted paint is flaking and it looks like mole is growing. I stayed in room 405.

Property is not fancy but good. Amole parking spaces. Just not sure if conducive to walking at night. Room is nice, beds are comfy, A/C works good. Only issue was we found hairs in the bathtub. Don't think tub was cleaned good. Wife has the other photo of hair.

The staff was great. Parking was a nightmare and pulling out of the hotel and onto the street was impossible due to traffic (not their fault). Only one elevator and the ice machine was in the parking garage. The really friendly and accomodating staff made up for a lot.

It was a short stay but pleasant. The room is nice and clean. The front desk guy check up on the Tv remote and he brought us a new Tv remote. The breakfast is good and simple. I would recommend this to my other family and friends.

There was so much storage space. If you were staying for a week or longer, this is the place. Full size closet, plus multiple shelves and drawer options. Large fridge and microwave in the room. Also, our room was on the corner of the building, kind of by the pool and it had a long hallway IN the room, before turning into the main living space. It added a feeling of security and privacy to our stay

Staff very friendly. Good location. Needs some updating and I think it may be under renovations in fitness center which was pretty dirty. For the price, still a good deal and I would stay there again for location and convenience.

Few plus are main location and close to crystal beach. Food shops were walkable. It’s outdated, and needs renovation.

For what we paid, im not ok. Ice machine in the parking structure. Breakfast was virtually non existent. The night and morning staff are not attentive. The night staff watched videos of himself while people did drugs in the parking structure. Somebody appeared to live in a parking space and several people were sleeping in their cars in the parking structure preventing paying guests from parking inside. I had to park my wifes car on the street. Room numbers were identified by painters tape. This place is a mess.

Good place to stay. Overall clean and comfortable, spacious room with ample parking spots. Acceptable breakfast. The building is a little old (unlike what you see in pictures) and needs renovation.

average stay in the city, rooms are cojusted you can hear the sound from neighbours, bathroom tap was licking and making sound whole night. pantry is very small and you will see crowded in the morning. cleanileness is good.

Confusing entrance. Next to busy streets. Room was ok. Bathroom has moisture issue . Sound seems to travel from other floor and rooms. It was ok. I wouldn't book it again.
