I visited multiple times over a period of 2 months or so my review maybe different than most. Pros: The staff are really nice and helpful. The location is good and is only 10 minutes from the airport and is along the bus route. You could take the metro from the airport to Reston Town Center and from there take a bus (950)that drops you in front of the hotel. The neighboring building has a 711 and papa johns along with a halal restaurant Knossos nearby. There is a (limited) selection free breakfast from 7 to 10am, but beats nothing.If thats not for you, there is a bagel place that is 10 minute walk away. The facility does have a small laundry room with a washer and dryer if you really need one. The cons: Most rooms are clean. However, some blankets with holes in them (why re-use ?) . During one of my stays i was in a room that had what appeared to be mold on the shower curtain ( not the tub). Again, why not just dispose of it. Also, While the towels are clean, I have received several with stains. Again, why not just throw away. Internet: while available, it is really slow. I remember days when most hotels had fast internet. Overall a mostly postive place to stay .

Great little hotel, clean and quiet! Nice neighborhood too, an Outback Steakhouse, Safeway and gas station within a 3- mile radius. Would definitely stay there again. Staff was super friendly and there was a decent breakfast bar as well.

I had just had surgery and I needed a clean, comfortable room. Our room had bedbugs and we were switched to another room. It was difficult because I had just had surgery. The second room had a broken refrigerator. It was difficult to move another room but we had to because of the bedbugs, when I went to check out, I asked for a refund. I was told he would have to speak to the manager. I never heard from Comfort Inn. I contacted Hotels.com. They contacted Comfort Inn in Herndon. They refused to give me a refund. They also said I never had any any complaints. This is very rude and unacceptable. I want a full refund. They’ve refused to give me anything. Hotels.com gave me a it $30 reward for a future stay. Now I have to contact American Express to see if I can get a refund.

The place needs renovation. There was some sort of smell in the elevators and the corridors but the room was ok. Breakfast is basic but acceptable.

The front desk staff was not friendly, the grounds are awful it says it’s pet friendly but no poop bags, our room bathroom light was out damage to the wall . Breakfast was awful no eggs limited selections , needs major upgrades. Felt unsafe , answered no NBC TV. Great location to everything but that’s it

We stayed 4 days without anyone entering our room. For us, that was OK. I suspect that others might appreciate a little more service.

Be careful of occupying a room on the third floor, facing the front of the hotel. Powerful lights are aimed at the building, and the bright lights are difficult to keep out of your room at night, even with blackout shades.

Convenient, reasonalbel price.

Spoke twice w management about fixing the security safe in room ….no response. Fitness room absolutely trash. Staff friendly and am breakfast ok. Get what you pay for

It's ok. Nothing fancy. There is a lot of rust in the bathroom. They need to update the bathrooms. they look pretty old. the room decorations are minimalistic; nothing fancy. basic decor. the hotel is fairly close (2.0 miles) to the Metro train station. i wish there was some place to eat nearby; a bar would be nice

Bedbugs and Roaches in my room.

Nice hotel in good condition and very clean. Breakfast was disappointing. Im a tea drinker but all they had was green tea which i hate(no caffeine).

The staff were exceptional

Room was clean, but maintenance could be improved on. The strainer in the bathroom sink drain was broken, the air conditioner never cut off, and the bathroom fan was broken. Three times we had to ask at the desk for someone to clean the room. The continental breakfast consisted mostly of dry cereal and watered down orange juice. Fortunately, there are several good restaurants within walking distance.

Some of the refreshments that were offered were not replenished like the infused water and the juices in the morning. The “fitness room” lacked ventilation and the equipment was broken or in need of an update. Bed Room was fine.

Comfortable bed, cable, free wifi, free breakfast, and the air conditioning works well.

They hotel was clean, smelled clean and the staff was friendly. The decor was up-to-date. The breakfast was good with hot scrambled egs, home frys plus cereals, bagels & pastries plus juice & coffee. The only improvement would have been sausage or bacon and waffles. Stayed here for a concert at Wolf Trap. If I'm back in the area again this will be my choice place to stay.

We have stayed here 3 times in the last 4 months due to proximity to medical facility. It is a great place to stay. It's clean and the staff are friendly.

Clean, simple, worth the price

Room needs a good scrubbing. Bath could use a makeover, including new door. Tub drain broken. Microwave and coffee maker unplugged, had to move furniture to reach plugs. Breakfast was scant, not refreshed in a tmely fashion. Security doors propped open. Smokers at every door, and in the stairwells. Quiet enough. With a little effort it could be a pleasant place to stay.
