Hard to find staff, even at the front desk. After arriving they tried to add a $25 a night fee for or small dog. The room was super dirty, floors were sticky, drawers were extremely filthy, handle fell of the bathroom sink. Sheets appeared to have been cleaned but they were stained. We did stay one night but just couldn’t do a second night in such a nasty place. Parking lot was unkept with trash and broken glass. No one would come to the front desk for our checkout. At one point, the front desk worker had a huge dog that was off leash in the hotel charge us, it may have been friendly but you don’t know that as a customer just walking in. Completely unacceptable!!

Even though the room looked okay at first, The room was very cold upon entry and we found other problems as well. Overall cleanliness was awful, garbage can was full with garbage on the ground, sheets were not clean, found a bandaid and lighter on the ground and no bathing towels were in the room. We do not advise staying here.

Check in was fine, the issues were once we got into the room. The floor was sticky, likely from being mopped excessively. There were food crumbs in the bathroom and a ladybug kept us company all night. The bed was comfy but with the other issues, I can’t say we’ll ever stay here again.

Rooms were dirty, like literally not cleaned before check in. Ended up not staying at all because we were too grossed out. Hotel is also dated. It’s a shame because from the outside it looks nice and it’s in a decent area. I had read the reviews before hand and was already hesitant to stay, but it was so close to family we were visiting I decided to book for the convenience of it. Beware.

Only issue, would still be nice to have a small coffee pot in the room in stead of having having to go out of the room to just get coffee. Other than that, it was very nice.

I've stayed with this hotel many times as I go to events in the Sac area frequently and It's a nice hotel right off the freeway. It's quiet and clean, the rooms have a mini fridge, a nice wardrobe closet, and plug-in options for gaming consoles. The only thing I would recommend is getting a room on the 2nd floor since the first floor rooms are right by the lobby and people coming in/out can be noisy. Other than that, this is a truly a nice hotel for a great price and would recommend to anyone and everyone 👍

The nice staff at the front desk helped us get a room Because my boyfriend’s wallet had been stolen earlier that day. We had enough to get the room , but not enough for the deposit . They totally accommodated us and made us feel very welcome . I. Can’t wait to stay here again .

Place was nice and comfortable. My only real quirky observation is the rooms appear to have been remodeled but the bathroom is a decade or two old/ wasnt remodeled in the same pass. The bathroom feels like a different hotel and not in a good way.

Quiet little hotel, good for the price. Checking in was extremely frustrating. There was no one at the desk. Eventually someone came, who doesn't normally work at the desk but said he was just covering for the regular clerk. He didn't know how to do the check in process so we just had to wait for the other person to get back from lunch. The whole lobby smelled like cigarettes. For some reason in the morning, our key cards no longer worked and I got locked out of our room.

The woman at check in was amazing. My husband said he would hire her on the spot. She started are stay with major positive vibes. Great customer service!

Me and my Wife were put in a dirty room. It had dog hair on the furniture and crumbs on the floor. They changed us to another room that room was better but still dirty. My wife wiped down the AC unit with Clorox wipes. Once we got home we found out they charged our debit card for $300 for smoke damage. Me and my wife don't smoke she has asthma. It took me three days to get a hold of them and the night person said the staff had made the decision to charge us. Horrible Customer Service

The property itself was lovely. The bed was comfy. It was close to shopping centers, restaurants, & The Quarry Park. When we got there late @ night, their key machine malfunctioned. The woman behond the counter was sweet & did everything she could, but ultimately were were let into our room by another staff member & had to get our key the next morning. When we got to our room, the TV wasnt working. A staff member came to our room & discovered it was unplugged. He had to remove the drawers from the dresser to get it plugged in. The next evening my husband & I had planned to relax in the hot tub. We went to go in & it was ice cold. When we had checked in there were people in the hot tub so not sure why it wasnt working when we went the next evening. We were bummed. Staff was great. Room was pretty. Had a few not so great things happen during our stay.

The hotel was nice and quiet. It is located away from some of the business of the city. The only issue we had was that our key card to the room lost its code so we had to have it recoded a couple of times.

I asked twicebefore i booked if the hot tub worked and was told yes both times. Got here and the water was cold. Very upset rn. I don’t like being mislead.

The hotel is rundown, carpets were dirty, no portable coffee machines in the room, toilet too short, limited, breakfast menu, coffee was horrible. Probably needs a major overhaul and brought up to date. I will not be staying there again.

Worst experience ever! We arrived and were told they overbooked and had no rooms for us - at 9:30 pm we were forced to search for another room. Want a refund on this weekend…

Very unorganized is an understatement. The front lobby smelt really bad. The person at the front desk was very unprofessional and not properly trained to greet customers. We arrived at 6:0o pm to check in and they had no rooms cleaned and ready for check in. I would highly recommend not to book this hotel unless you don't mind you're vacation to be ruined!!

Everything was great! The breakfast, cleanliness of the rooms, the grounds and the lobby. The friendliness and efficiency of the staff was good.The pool and jacuzzi were nice and inviting. The area was fantastic My only complaint would be that I requested a quiet room and probably got the loudest, on the side of the freeway. I could have requested to move but chose to just deal with it.

A bit run down and needs remodel. but the bed was comfortable so that was good. It worked for us for the need of just having a place to sleep.

Don’t stay here. The service is terrible. After midnight all the key cards need to be rekeyed. It’s been going on for a long time and no one seems to care. The receptionist is frequently gone when guests check in. The maintenance man will step in and try to check guests in but he always calls out for assistance. Stay anywhere else but here.

Every time I stay here my room key needs to be re-keyed after days end. Very frustrating.

I love this place! There’s an enclosed patio/balcony adjacent to your room so you can let your dogs go outside at night. In the daytime, there’s a pleasant little trail in back of the facility for walking your pups. Breakfast was generous and outstanding!!! Best of all: the staff is friendly and helpful. This is my second stay at Rocklin Park and I’ll definitely come back again!

no one 'manned' the service area during my stay unless I was viewed on a camera. no coffee in the rm and usually empty in the lobby. Caught a maintenance man in the hall, who replaced faulty phone in the rm. there was no type of breakfast. liked decor and bathroon toiletries very much. location great for my visit and cost was good value
