I find it absolutely BIZARRE that the bathroom doors have a 2 inch open gap when "closed". I use the term closed lightly because it doesn't actually close. All your privacy falls out those two large gaps. The use of a barn door for a bathroom, that will more than likely be shared by people is the worst decision I can imagine for a¹ hotel. I know this issue is not specific to this hotel but most Hampton Inn's now use this door. Besides that, there was trash in my room upon arrival, the TV had no remote and no HDMI cable, no extra bedding could be found for the couch. On a positive note the staff was exemplary.

Everything was as expected. The pool that was heated was still pretty cold. The room was very warm--the water--not so much.The person I brought wanted to swim every night but said the water was too cold-I agree. it was conveniently located for us in between Foxwoods and Mystic. The complementary breakfast was amazing. We thought going down just before 10 AM. Everything would either be not fresh or gone, but there was something different every day and it was really good.

It's conveniently located on one of the main streets in town. There is plenty of dining and shopping options a short drive into town. The staff were very helpful and extremely nice when we arrived before our scheduled check-in time, but they were still able to accommodate us which meant a lot since my whole family was tired from flying in on the red eye earlier that morning.

We are a church and have chose this hotel for special speakers many times. This time our speaker came and said he would never stay at that hotel again. One of the doors in his room would not shut all the way, cracks in the ceiling and the smell of marijuana strong in the hallways. We paid over $400 a night for this room. Very disappointed and embarrassed that one of our guest speakers had to deal with this.

Elevator sounded like a haunted house

There was no lighting in the rooms. We had to use our cell phone lights to search through our bags

Front desk attendent 11:15 AM 28 July 23 was terrible. Engaged in personal phone conversation the entire time we were checking out. Dining room attendents likewise outside food area on phones not atteding to serving area. Housekeeping staff all friendly and engaged.

This hotel got great reviews so we felt comfortable booking it for a family trip. But when we got there, the room smelled musky and was damp, the smoke detectors were off the wall, and the bathroom door (which was a barn door) was off the track and the handle was broken. They were going to put a maintenance order in but for early the next morning which didn't work with our schedule. we ended up switching hotels for our next night. Some of the inconveniences we could look past but the AC air made our clothes wet, damp bedding, and was not comfortable. The neighborhood also seemed soso.

The staff were very nice. The trash basket in the room should be bigger. There was too much chlorine in the pool and the pool stairs were slippery.

Friendly staff. Easy check in and out. Room was clean. We have an issue with the sliding bathroom/closet door. Does not allow for full privacy in the bathroom, as you cannot fully close or lock the door. Happens at other Hampton as well. Good breakfast but items not replenished after 9:30 am, even when staff was asked about it. (2 mornings when asked they looked at their watch and said ‘too late’.)

Place was nice. One elevator was broke the other sounded like it was going to break. Otherwise nice place.

The staff was very helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean. The TV did not work and while the room was very nicely air-conditioned, the hallways were not.

Hotel was very clean and staff was friendly. After our original check in, one of our room keys did not work, I went down to the lobby 2 times to have it fixed but each time I went back upstairs to our room it did not work. I had another guest with me and their room key worked so it was not a problem, however it took until the 3rd time for it finally to work. The next morning although checkout was not until 11am, the cleaning employee knocked on the door at 9:30am and opened the door to our room. Was very upset about this as we were woken up to the maid coming into the room.

Other than the elevators both being broken, it was a great stay.

While the hotel was generally very good, there were deficiencies in my room. In all fairness, once reported, they were dealt with promptly. Staff were friendly and pleasant.

Very clean and room was very comfortable. Breakfast had plenty of choices hot and cold. Would stay again.

Hotel was conveniently located, room and pool were clean, breakfast was good and customer service was excellent.

Reserved two rooms through Expedia and only one reservation was received by the property.

Good 2nd time will recommend to everyone friendly staff and always ready to help you with your inquiries 👏✊
