The hotel was clean, but most everything in the room was worn and in need of being replaced.The heater was so noisy, that when it came on it woke us up. The toilet made a loud whistling noise every time you flushed it until it filled up. The tv only had antenna tv. No guide, just had to scroll through each channel to find something to watch. The refrigerator was only warm. To make it worse on the morning we had check out the elevator was broke and we were on the fifth floor. I have a bad leg and it was very difficult to up and down stairs to load stuff in car. The staff were very friendly, but nothing they could have done to help. They were full so we could not change rooms. Felt like I was staying in a budget hotel, but we paid $222.00 a night. No bargain. We will not stay here again.

The room was nice and clean, spacious. Beds were comfortable. Front desk staff was polite and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Trip was great better than we expected. Front desk attendant I think Ms. Lily (middle aged black lady) was very as accommodating and helpful. Breakfast bar was amazing saved us money and the heated pool was a plus. Room could have been better, our room smelled of old socks and boots.

Nice hotel. Clean and presentable but starting to show some wear. Nice friendly staff. Within walking distance of a couple of restaurants. Convenient to Little River, North Myrtle Beach and US 17

Customer service was amazing, the room was clean , love that they let our fur baby stay also. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

The property was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff was very friendly. Our room was clean. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet that was offered every morning.

The hallways and common areas were dirty and had many broken pieces of moulding and dirty carpets. Overall not what I would ever expect to see in a Hampton inn. Disappointed in the property conditions.

This property was alright. I appreciated the fridge and microwave in the room, the breakfast optioms, and having a pool. I would rate closer to a 6.5 or 7.

The location is great...close to everything.
The pool looked horrible! It needs to be maintained and have clean, clear water. It looked so green and cloudy I wouldn't even think about getting in it! Please fix the pool and make it clean and clear and safe. If it is safe, no one would know! If it isn't in a condition where people will want to use it, it should be closed and not advertised and rates should come down!

Nothing unique. Dirty pool, dirty carpet. Housekeeping dont clean unless u fill out a sheet to get ur room cleaned. Staff are rude and we will never stay there again.

Starting off the elevator was broke and the other one was slow .
The room had a smell like a dog 🐕
The shower had some mold and I herd someone else saying thet had the same problem with their shower .
The water in tbe shower drained slow so you stood in a pool of water .
We went to go in the pool but we changed our minds after seeing the water was a green tint with a strong smell of bleach or chlorine.
The staff was very nice.
Luckily this was a short stay for a day and a half.

Had a great stay at Hampton Inn this weekend in North Myrtle Beach. Many things to do, open opportunities, great crowds, and overall amazing time. Thank you Hampton Inn NMB-Harbourgate!!

Staff was very friendly with professional characters. The particular room I stayed in was fine overall however it appeared to have some storm damage by the window which resulted in some parts of the carpet peeling/buckling up from the floor. Rm 417 overall great experience

This property is conveniently located near restaurants and the highway. I found it easy to travel to my destinations. The room was clean and comfortable.

I first stayed at the hotel back in October 2022, and it seemed much cleaner. The rooms declined quickly and seem to need to be maintained better. The staff here is awesome, and always accommodating and friendly.

AC very loud- vibrated/ talked with three diff staff to just look at it- ck in was terrible- they said I didn’t have a reservation/. Then found it after numerous attempts- prob 3-5 min/. Visa card didn’t work- will not stay there again. I would appreciate a refund.

This hotel allows pets. Which we did not know when we booked. Our room smelled like dogs and there was a dog barking at night right across the hall from our room. They didn’t come in and clean. The pool was closed.

Bathroom. When talking a shower the water drainage was extremely slow, 3 inches of water would comlect in tub. Wash clothes were worn out and one even had hairs on ìt.
Bedpillows are worn out.
The carpet needed cleaning.
To make matters worst, we we awaken at 230am to a screaming child running up and down the hall; and a child running across the room above us from 3am to 630 am.
It was unpleasant 1 night stay!

The stay overall was pleasing. The check in I will say was very slow. She was sweet but seemed overwhelmed. We got there at 3:50 and were told our room wasn’t ready - check-in got crowded didn’t get into room til well-after 4. Not terrible but we were ready

Our room reeked of dog smell. It was late, we were exhausted from traveling, and didn’t want the hassle of having to change rooms so we dealt with it but it was unpleasant and set off my allergies. Very disappointing.

All things considered this stay was suitable and it could have been worse. The reason for the Luke warm review is that our expectations for a stay at a Hampton Inn are higher than the results. Air conditioning unit very loud and had to be turned off to sleep. Coffee was not good and the employee making it literally grumbled when told good morning. Overall this was a brief stay and these are minor things that we did not expect, but thought someone should know.
