We really enjoyed our stay. We were in building 1 room 201 which is a corner king unit. The room was very spacious even in the bathroom. It had quite a large closet area and the room did include a blow dryer, iron with board, microwave, and small fridge. Bldgs 1 and 2 are across the street from the office, breakfast area, and pool but it was not inconvenient at all. We had a great seat on our balcony for the live music on Saturday night. There is a lot of good restaurants and a fishing dock all right there at the property. The resort is in the entertainment district so there is music playing most evenings but other than the special event on Ruby St., you really aren’t disturbed by the music while inside the room. We can’t wait to return again soon perhaps in the summer!

Jana in the office was super sweet and so helpful but the beds were HORRIBLE, noise was seriously terrible, not enjoyable. The only positive was the lake view.

needs new furniture, very out dated, light bulbs were missing, more pillows needed, carpet needs on floor curtains needed washed, didnt feel cleaned, not fresh

Our stay was disappointing. The photos on their website looked much better than the actual room. The hotel is in need of a good cleaning, painting and repair. The hotel building is good quality, but it has been poorly maintained. The view of the lake from the balcony is fantastic!

Great place to stay and everything was within walking distance that we wanted to do.

Location is great. Many activities going on this evening - corn hole, bingo, volley ball. Looking forward to using the pool in the morning.

It could be a very nice place to stay. My issues were: I am a 73 years old woman, I was put in BLDG 2, had to park across the street from the building, walk behind the building and enter an unlocked screen door to reach the elevator, not safe or convenient. My sliding door to the balcony did not lock, discovered after returning from dinner. TV volume not adjustable, remote didn't work, super nice desk lady (Ivy I believe) came over to the room took the batteries out and put them back in, volume still not adjustable but remote appeared to work until I couldn't turn it off when ready to go to sleep called office and she brought batteries which made the remote work but volume never was right. Light bulb out in the bathroom, so I changed it out for a lamp bulb that worked. I had booked for 2 people which changed last minute. Only coffee condiments in the room for 1 person 1 time. Very disappointed. If I ever stayed again I would request Main bldg and check everything before I ever unpacked anything or touched anything in the room.

Great Place to Stay!

Great hotel- low water pressure and shower/bath knob was backwards hot and cold, close to many bars on Friday night- very loud. Room very spacious, however back door entrance to B bldg no lighting and door open for anyone to enter. Area was beautiful,and people were very friendly.

Decor could have been nicer /mix matched pictures , lol. Elevator was broken on our way out and had to make several trips to carry cooler and suitcases down 3 flights. It was fixed after we actulally checked out, so I guess it was fixed fairly promptly. Within an hour. Very loud bar patrons coming out of bar at 2 am.

Check in was good. When I opened my room the tv was on blasting loud with a broken remote, there was a dirty towel that clearly was used to remove makeup and the A/C didn’t work. The 2nd night they had some sort of party with a band directly below our room. With Children it was very difficult to sleep until after 11 when the band. Finally stopped. If we were notified of this we would have booked somewhere else. There was no one at the counter for hours to communicate with. Multiple families were upset that night. Check out went smoothly, but the over all experience left us unnerved a bit.

The room smell a cigarette, very strong…. I suppose to stay two nights but I decided to find another place to stay. Service was great, staff very friendly and the location is great,

Called the day ahead to ask for early check in . I had event I needed to attend . When I arrived at 1:30 our room was still not ready. Very frustrating. Also parking was inconvenient far away from rooms.

If you’re looking to sleep at night, this is NOT the place! My first night I had to relocate at midnight because of a loud party in the room next to mine. Front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful in changing my room. The second night, I heard loud music until 2am coming from the bar downstairs. Overall, I didn’t get much rest and wasn’t a pleasant stay. I won’t be returning to this hotel.

I liked this hotel but there were bugs crawling on both side tables next to the bed the night that we arrived. Once I killed all of them they didn’t come back, but still unsettling.

The Dog House Sports bar ruined our whole trip experience. The noise level late at night was intolerable. Multiple people complained and nothing was done. The Manager of the bar was oblivious as to the complaints or how to manage a "sports" bar. He goes past the noise ordinance that appears to be not enforced by the local police. On a sports Friday, bar had almost all patrons who wanted to watch the dolphins/jets game and they did not want to turn off the music at 3:00 in the afternoon to put let the patrons listen to the game. Then, that night, had the same issues with the late night music. The location on the lake was nice but we will never come back..

Gigantic place for a couple. Beautiful views of the water. Plenty of bars and restaurants in walkable distances. Only negative, if you don’t party it gets kinda noisy at night.

Not even close to a “resort”. Very stark uncomfortable accommodations. Our 1st room in building 2 had no air conditioning; a tiny TV screen and access to the building at night seemed like a dark alley. Also, extremely loud music from local bars. Ivy couldn’t resolve AC problems, so she relocated us to another room in the main building. Thank you to Ivy for doing her best to resolve a bad situation. Steer clear away from Key West Resort.

We stay here 2 or 3 times a year and the stay is always good . One of the times the elevator wasn’t working and they notified Expedia and we were credited a free night.

The key kept getting stuck in the door. The paint was peeling off the wall. There were several damage places on the floor. The a/c was leaking on the microwave. It smelled like mildew. And there was a printed piece of paper on the toilet that damaged or missing towels would cost $10.00. We’ve stayed here before in the main building and it was great. This time was one of other buildings and it was HORRIBLE.

There are restaurants within sight and easy walking distances from the room. It is not a quiet place as at least two of the restaurants have live bands that play until 11pm. This did not bother us, but had several people that said they didn’t get to sleep until after midnight because of all the noise. The food in the neighboring restaurants was good as was the service. My only real complaint was the lack of parking and not having any covered area to load or unload your car. Also, I hate not having regular maid service. I think the least one should receive is daily clean towels.

We just did a runaway from home weekend. It was great just to chill somewhere different

I learned my lesson: I should always read the reviews!! Nothing on the booking pages told me I was going to get a hotel room for SLEEPING yet NOT get to actually SLEEP on a Friday night because of the freaking loud band outside! Geez, ya'll, state that you provide this entertainment, that way the folks who want to party will come and the folks who want to SLEEP after a long day can do so in a quiet hotel somewhere else! I'm exhausted yet here i sit listening to punk rock 😳😳😳 I think the cold tile floor is horrible, too. The positive: the bed is cozy. ((I'm dying to use it right now.)

Beautiful and scenic. Many dining options within walking distance. The staff was very attentive.

The place is very nice. However, the bar attached to the hotel has a large outdoor patio with a stage. They played music at night outside and it was so loud it vibrated our room which was across the street. We could not enjoy our balcony or the pool, let alone relax or sleep in the room. Watching TV was barely possible as the loud bass meant we had to turn up the volume. The music went on past 10:00pm at night. Will not stay here again.
