Super cute space and was very clean. A couple of sticky spots on the kitchen floor we had to clean but was otherwise pretty clean. Kitchen could use a few more items like scissors, a scrub pad for dishes and maybe ziploc bags. The loft area was quite warm at night but there’s a portable fan and a window we opened so that helped a bit. A bit longer to the beach than posted but a beautiful spot just the same. My friends and I used the local spa but I wouldn’t recommend it. The service and treatments we received were sub par. Next time I will pay the extra and try the Ty na mara grotto spa next door. Overall, a great place and we would stay again.

It was what we needed. A homebase, a place to rest, a place to gather and eat together. It was close to all of the places we wanted to explore and experience.

The host Andrew was absolutely a joy with communications. The cottage was spotless and everything you need for your stay was included. Things were thoughtfully labeled. This is a great area to stay - close to the resorts and beach. I was very impressed and will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here in September 2023 and it felt like home. Anything one could need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay was provided by Andrew the host. Hope to stay there again when I travel to the Island again in the future.

It’s a lovely little cottage with all the amenities you need. Comfortable, warm, spacious. Great location to town and seeing all the sites of Parksville

The cottage was perfect space for three adults and 2 young children. The weather was very warm but the ceiling fan in the living room and floor fans in the bedrooms worked well to keep it cool inside. Great private deck out back. Close to all the amenities. Liked this unit for its location just off Resort Road as well as access to the pool and mini golf for evening fun.

Very clean, well appointed home. We were very happy with our stay, and would definitely come back/recommend to friends!

It was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend with some old friends! The outdoor area was a nice place to eat, the hedges provided great visual privacy. Inside was nice and clean and slightly larger than I was expecting, it comfortably fit five adults. Thanks so much!

Location has lots of amenities (pool, hot tub, mini golf, cafe, spa, etc.). Home was beautiful and clean. Slept 5 comfortably. Great location. Would definitely book again.

It was relaxing. The only problem we had was that the pool was closed, and they did not let us know.

Very happy with our stay here. The owner communication was great. The master bedroom is a nice size with a king size bed I believe. The two single beds upstairs are more suitable for children as they are shorter. Upstairs is a very nice area as there is another tv and another bathroom. Plus we used the fold down couch in the living room as my husband seems sto snore on vacation.lol. We had great weather for our 4 nights. We enjoyed walking to mini golf and having an ice cream. Only 5 min or less away! And we ate at 2 different restaurants right in walking distance. The beach and Rathtrevor Park are about 10 mins away. We walked down a couple of times and we drove a couple of times with all of our stuff to stay there for a few hours. Lots of parking in public parking near the beach at Rathtrevor. Tide was out and we sat with our chairs and hats and a couple drinks with the tunes on. Don't forget your sunscreen!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is great. It’s in a quiet area near Rathtrevor Beach and close to everything else you need in town. We would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable accommodation, equipped with everything. Easy check in. 2 nice showers with low step in access. Deep soak tub. Nice to have access to indoor hot tub. Lots of extras to enjoy the stay.

The Place was really clean... and smelled great! We bumped into the lady who does the cleaning when we were leaving and told her the lavender (that it turns out she comes a couple hours before our check in) was a lovely touch and had the place smelling as good as it looked! Andrew (owner) answered our questions quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend this place!

The cottage is clean, plenty of space internally, and has a nice, private patio in the back. Located on a quiet resort with easy access to nearby Parksville, Rathtrevor, crazy golf, beach etc. Owner is very responsive and accommodating. A super vacation, we hope to be back again soon!

Very accurate description of the place. Key code for entry, worked like a charm. Cabin had everything we needed, even show horns!! Think we were there between spring break & Easter so was quiet. Short walk to the Grotto spa just down the street. Getting to ocean / beach bit more of a trek, don't forget anything!

What an amazing property! It is right across the street from two resorts with beach access, and a short walk to Rathtrevor provincial park. A walk at low tide is an absolute must do - it is stunning! The Black Goose restaurant across the street is fantastic. Indoor heated pool/ hot tub is close by and kid friendly. The house was immaculate! Master bedroom has a queen bed in its own room. Downstairs bathroom has a lovely soaker tub and separate shower. The upstairs is a loft with twin beds and its own bathroom with shower. The loft is closed to the main area, it is open to the staircase by the front door - just enough to be able to hear the kids but far enough for privacy lol. The back deck is private, surrounded by cedars. Kitchen was clean and stocked with everything we needed to cook. Andrew even provided coffee and tea! Washer/dryer in the unit with detergent provided. Two TVs with all the channels. Furniture was clean, and he even has some throw blankets for curling up on the couch after the kids go to bed. We will definitely be back. Both times I messaged Andrew he got back to me immediately, very nice guy

I was really impressed with the layout of this community. Super high density yet the units are so private - its so well designed! My daughter loved the pool and hot tub which was a bonus. The beach is a nice stroll away or we just parked at the rathtrevor provincial park. The unit was well equipped with everything we needed including of extra blankets. Would stay there again

The cabin was very clean & homey, nicely updated & fully equipped for short or long- term stays. It was exactly as described, a great location & very private with only a short 10- minute walk to the beach. I highly recommend staying here if you’re planning a visit to Vancouver Island!

This is the second of the cottages in Oceanside in which we have stayed. They seem to be pretty similar but we definitely preferred 207 because it is not near the road and hence is much quieter. The whole house was well equipped and spotlessly clean. The owner was very quick in responding to queries and communications.

Beautiful, clean, well equipped home. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and walking trails! Having access to a hot tub and pool was lovely as well! Andrew is an exceptional host.

Andrew is excellent at replying to all of my questions and concerns. His home is perfection; clean as a whistle, beautifully decorated, comfortable with everything our family could need. I also loved that he had drawers and light switches clearly marked so you knew where to find things without having to do a scavenger hunt. There was enough parking space for our 2 vehicles and good space for 3 adults and 1 teenager for sleeping. I appreciated having 2 full bathrooms so the boys could utilize one washroom while the ladies shared the downstairs one. The floor plan of Andrew's home is perfection with the vaulted ceiling in the living room making it feel so much more spacious. The only downside was not having public access to the beach unless we drove down to Rathtrevor park which is only a few minutes by car...too long of a walk for us and kids. This properly is not right on the beach and the properies across the street had signs posted that stated only guests were allowed to enter or access beach from there. But, because it was not right on the beach, we had lots of privacy and peace & quiet. The back deck would be amazing to bbq in the summer, it was quite large and would be a great space to sun and sip. Hoping to return one warm day! You won't be disappointed if you book this gem.
