Kiyla is the best helped us before the stay and during. We left some water bottles and they even tried to catch us before we got too far but we decided not to go back for them. Thanks guys!

Nice, with a great view of the ocean! Bertha was really sweet and helpful! The property was clean, but you can tell that the previous guests haven’t always taken pride in taking care of it, as there was obvious wear and tear…holes in some walls and some scrapes. Also, the couch needed to be spot cleaned really badly and our bedspread had some really bad stains in it, and could use a good bleaching. These are things that are easily fixable by management, and are things that as a paying customer, I will definitely write a review about. You can tell that at one point, this place used to be really really nice. Overall, my kids had a great time, which is all that really matters!

This property grounds were beautiful with tons of local flowers and wildlife. Excellent location right next to beach, convenient shopping, and plenty of dining options within walking distance.

The staff was so welcoming and helpful during our stay. They provided an excellent, peaceful environment and were able to help us with any questions or concerns that we had. We will absolutely be back to visit again.

They evidently changed management. They insisted I pay again because they werent getting the money from Expedia. They harrassed me for payment instead of accepting ownership of their own issue.

Betha was awesome. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Our friends will be returning to Placencia and staying again at the Brisas Oceana.

The rooms are damp. Air conditioning is the only means of dehumidification, but using the air conditioning causes significant condensation on the blinds, which drips onto the floor and forms substantial puddles. The room was quite small - although this is a pattern in Belize. Its design was notably inefficient, with a lot of space wasted by a hallway / entryway that nominally had a desk in it but wasn't really all that usable. The location is pretty good - easy walk to lots of restaurants, dive shops, etc.

The room was clean & comfortable, but this was certainly not a "resort." The walk from the office to the rooms was long as well as the walk from room to beach which is not typical for most properties in Placencia. They need to step up their game if they want repeat customers. They need a better path out to the beach, more than 6 beach chairs, a "no housekeeping" or "do not disturb" sign (we got a knock on our door every morning at 8AM),

I enjoyed my stay VERY much! The room was light and airy and absolutely beautiful! Shanay (sp?) in the office was wonderful and extremely helpful. I would definitely stay at Brisa again!

My husband and I had a great stay. We had the one bedroom and it was perfect, lots of room, full kitchen, and no surprises in conditions. Pictures on website are spot on. The only disappointment where quantity of beach chairs. Would recommend adding more. Otherwise definitely recommend.

This place is a hidden gem!! I couldn’t have been happier with our two bedroom unit and the views! The staff is wonderful. This place exceeded my expectations! Close to all restaurants with exceptional food. How can you go wrong with this view and how nice the rooms are?

We loved our stay! It was right next to the boardwalk and easily accessible to get to and from the beach and bars. Our room was amazing and comfortable. There’s also their own beach area that they keep very clean! Beach chairs and towels were available to use for that as well and there’s a bar right next to it that you can get drinks from! The only thing that I found was a problem was finding where the main office was. Google maps took us to the actual rooms rather than the office where you check in. The sign was present but we definitely missed it. So if you stay here, the office to check in is on the main road so look for that! We loved our stay and we would stay again.

The room was extremely large and well appointed. Diane was lovely at check in, with information about rooms amenities, and locks and television. Would stay again.

We loved staying here. It’s our 5th visit to Pacencia and this resort is one of the best. The suite was comfortable, clean and spacious. The Entire staff were extremely helpful and kind. You can swim in the ocean right in front of the resort or you can use their sister hotel’s pool. It’s near the Main Street as well as right on the famous “narrowest street in the world” according to Guinness book of word records. Very cool place to stay.

I read reviews all over the board on this property, but I found it to be very enjoyable. We had only a few minor issues (our A/C froze and was dropping ice on us in the middle of the night) and a few bugs (but you’re in the tropics, remember..), but all were very quickly attended to and the staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful. Placencia is a quiet, slower pace of life and there is plenty to do within walking distance, including Rumfish y vino, which is a fantastic restaurant right next door. There is NO POOL on premise, but you can be transferred to Placencia Hotel which has the biggest pool (and swim up bar) in the area. The pool is NOT within walking distance, but transportation can be arranged for you. If you rent a car/golf cart, you can just have the front desk notify The Placencia and they will wave you through once you get there. Cute, comfortable, and clean stay at Brisa Oceano.

I do not recommend Brisa Oceano Resort in Placencia. Our room was listed on Expedia as 818 square feet. The room ended up being about 200 square feet. The property manager Juan said "you booked through a third-party website so we are not responsible for the square footage they list." Our bathroom had severe damage. The hair dryer was ripped off the wall, shelves from the shower were removed and never replaced, and the cabinet under the sink had severe water damage. It was filthy and unsafe because someone left a heavy piece of granite under the sink. I travelled with a toddler and the room was not safe for him to be in. Juan, the property manager, agreed to have his maintenance team repair the bathroom. But I was forced out of my room for 2 hours while they completed the repairs. My toddler needed to nap during this time and his entire day was disrupted due to the construction on my room. I do not recommend staying at Brisa Oceano Resort. We feel really misled from the listing. Brisa Oceano needs to take better care of their rooms and complete repairs before guests arrive. Make sure you sleep with ear plugs because you will hear your neighboring guests through the walls.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They acted like a concierge and helped with cabs; Covid testing; tours. Their attention was 5 star. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Location was convenient to restaurants; laundry; small supermarket. Definitely recommend staying here. Excellent value in Belize.

Property is right on the beach in the town of Placencia. It is significantly upscale from many of the other hotels in the town. They have a system where they give you a wrist band at the Belize City Airport and they let the hotel know and have a car waiting for you when your plane arrives at the Placencia airport. It was really nice to know there wouldnt be any hassle getting to the hotel. This too, is upscale service for this part of the world. Very appreciated.

Perfect location right on the beach. Recently renovated clean rooms and bathrooms. Ocean view from many rooms. Unfortunately our room/studio was equipped only with one cup and spoon. Considering there is no bar or restaurant at the facility more cups, plates, spoons and wine glasses are needed in the room. A knife is required as well.

Very nice, spacious, modern decor and clean. Very accessible to shops and restaurants. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, especially Dianne and William.

Brisa Oceano and staff were awesome! William and his team were very welcoming and helpful. From sharing meat pies, making recommendations, and booking the best excursions, William was top notch! Ernesto, who drove me both was to the airport was also very helpful in finding lunch and providing some history on the long ride to and from the airport. And if you can get to Ranguana, hope that Freddie is the bartender, he's the Best!
