Good for male traveller but not female companions as they have to travel far for prayers in the prophet mosque
General check in time in Saudi Arabia apart for that nothing else

Spacious and clean
I paid for deluxe haram view but ended up with city view. The bed and pillows weee hard and we had connecting room with very noisy neighbours. Lots of construction’s going on outside. You cannot pray in this hotel with the people as you would be infront of imam so you would have to walk for 20-25 minutes to get to ladies area to pray and with construction was taking longer. Too expensive for what I paid for. When you pray alone in room your back would be to Prophet SAW Masjid Al Nabwee.

The location and only the location
Unfortunately, my experience fell significantly short of the expectations one might have for a five-star establishment, leading me to decide that this visit would be my last. The hotel is situated in a bustling and noisy area, which significantly detracts from the peaceful experience one seeks in such a sacred city. The lobby was congested with visitors sleeping on couches, diminishing the luxury ambiance one would expect.Room service was a major letdown, with the quality of food being the worst I've encountered in any hotel stay, including those at three-star establishments. Orders took excessively long to arrive, ranging from 35 to 45 minutes even for simple beverages. The Saudi coffee, in particular, was disappointingly watery and undoubtedly the worst I've ever had.A glaring oversight was the absence of a praying mat in the room, which is inexplicable for a hotel located less than two minutes walk from the Madinah Mosque. Although the towels provided were clean, they carried a strong chlorine smell that was quite off-putting.Adding to the discomfort, the toilet in my room malfunctioned, which is a basic expectation for functionality in any lodging, let alone a five-star hotel. The furniture creaked alarmingly, signaling low quality and poor maintenance - not what one would expect from a supposed luxury establishment. On the brighter side, the hotel staff was commendable for their efforts, and the prime location of the hotel is undeniably its strongest asset. However, these were the only aspects that met my expectations for a stay in a city as revered as Madinah. In conclusion, my stay at the Pullman ZamZam Hotel was marred by numerous disappointments, including poor room service, lack of basic amenities, overwhelming noise, discomfort, and poor maintenance. This will obviously be my last visit. I cannot recommend staying here at all unless absolutely necessary. For those seeking a tranquil and fulfilling stay in Madinah, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

The Hotel is dated , I paid around $3000 for two nights in a presidential suite . The name is misleading , this was at best a motel when compared to western standards
The hotel is obsolete , the rooms are dirty, smell bad and overall it’s not worthy of staying. Next door Hyatt is way better

Very good breakfast and lunch and dinner, the view from the rooftop restaurant was mind blowing! The staff were amazing, they came to check if we needed anything in our rooms and delivered a fantastic service when we inquired about anything over the phone.
The toilet shower was leaking even after someone came to change it, it was still leaking.

The location is perfect for praying in the Noble Rawda (requires a Nusuk permit).
Breakfast is perfect. Omlet chief of the breakfast restaurant's second floor is a hero.
The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional.
The view from my room was a mountain of Uhud.
There is an option to be at the Prophet's Masjid
the view from the breakfast restaurant is The Prophet's Masjid.
room size and design is perfect
the 1st and 4th beds are smaller than the others
Extra wall electrical outlets are needed. only available between 2nd and 3rd beds
The Omlet chief in the breakfast 2nd-floor restaurant is great, however, he is alone and overwhelmed with so many orders
and the queue is too long. An additional chief would be a great idea.
A longer distance to women's prayer areas at The Prophet's Masjid.

The room was spacious, which is very difficult to find at a 5 starred hotel. The room amenities were adequate. There was a small kitchen to warm up food which is a bonus
The whole hotel is shabby, probably dates back many decades since the last renovation. It direly needs upgraded renovation in order to justify its reputation. Everything is our room were old and needed renovation. On the check out day we had a nightmare. We called several times for the Portman to take our luggage, for 10 mins, no one answered at the reception. After that, we were able to connect with someone and asked for the Portman to collect our luggage. He made a lot of delay and chaos since there was a big party of guest checking in and shortage of experienced staff were clearly visible. When you book a 5 star hotel with such a lot of money, it is logical to expect luxurious service, which, I am afraid, was clearly missing.

The location is superb and the layout is very good too. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all up to good standards.
The one gripe I had was the breakfast was the same everyday and in particular there never seemed to be any cutlery available, which was frustrating for many customers

Close to Haram, very nice and clean
Surrounding roads were closed so access was awkward and difficult to get to by car/taxi

Nothing
For what paid for this hotel compared to other hotels, this was the poorest quality hotel,
*Literly 2 portable laps in the room, to dark to see around
* shower water would puddle up in and out side the shower base due to small shower screen.
*toilet hardly plushed in 1st flush, so I had to wait for water to be filled up and flush again.
* Water in sink splashes water everywhere due to low quality spout,
* wifi was extremely slow, hardy loaded anything
* food was way overpriced compared to other hotels.

We stayed at the same hotel three times during our visits to AlMadeena.
The hotel is located near men's entrance gate no. 37.
A bus service is provided by the hotel every 30 minutes for ladies to reach gate no. 25.
A wide selection of breakfast items is available.
The room service was slow, we stayed for two nights, and a sign was placed at the door asking us to clean the room, but it was not cleaned.

Location
Check-in experience was pathetic and food ordered from the restaurant for room service was really very bad

Spacious, clean, close by
Breakfast, not much variety hotel does not serve basic things like hash browns and beans for breakfast. The jams on table were always used which i found not nice they dont chuck them away. We were on R floor which was always busy and had to wait to sit down utleast 10 mins before we got a table. The cakes were always stale so i think they dont replace them and have them fresh or there was not a way of keeping them fresh outside when served to customers. Coffee machine always use to break and workers had no idea when asked how fixed.
The quality of the coffee from the machine can better. The cappuccino was like just milk foam and coffee didnt not feel like i was drinking coffee.

- Location next to Al Haram
The room that we reside in had an annoying sound of an engine running toward our ears since we checked in the hotel, we have requested to reception and no one paid attention neither had any action to be taken, therefore i went down by myself to acquire the help and they said that the engine would stop after one hour or we will change the room, unfortunately the engine haven’t stopped and room has not changed as they promised, which is very disappointing after paying such fees and getting such service.
Definitely not coming to this hotel again and wont recommend to anyone!
