Location and staff

That they didn’t let us know that they were under construction and it was valet parking only

Everything in general is quite OK.

The water coming from shower was a bit too small.

Great location. Easy walking to restaurants, water taxis and shopping.

Our room location was terrible. We looked right at another building. We couldn't keep our drapes open

The staff. They accused us of being loud and charged us our deposit for being loud. Which we weren’t.

The location is easy to find. The staff are friendly and accommodating. And the room was clean and we feel comfortable.

I have only 1 complain, that is the water in the shower. There is no warm water, there’s only hot and cold. So it’s really a struggle taking a shower.

There is a construction going on and there underground parking is closed And I have to drive 5mins minutes away from the location to find a parking

Its been a while we have choosing this hotel but everything is very bad at this time. Not clean and very noisy

Tout était compliqué (Pas de parking, utilisation de la laverie/blanchisserie compliqué car le paiement se fait uniquement avec des pièces de 1$ et le personnel ne m’ont pas facilité la tâche ne voulant pas échanger mes pièces de 2$ et de 0.25 cent contre des pièces de 1$, le restaurant à côté ne font pas d’échange de pièce non plus.) J’ai demandé à la réception si l’hôtel possédait un ATM et ils m’ont envoyé ailleurs, le lendemain j’ai vu qu’il y avait un ATM en me promenant dans le salon de la réception. La douche était cassé et ça mouillait toutes la salle de bain, du plafond jusqu’au sol. (Preuve en vidéo) Le sol était très gras, c’était désagréable.

The location was great. Was able to do lots of walking a sightseeing.

Unfortunately there was no mention of construction so it took way longer and many laps to finally park near the hotel to even check in. And there were a few small things that were in disrepair that could have been replaced or fixed before putting someone else in the room.

Incredibly dirty/insanitary dirty box spring,broken pealing dirty desk chair, un sanitized night tables windowsills,what looked like/Bodley fluids in box spring, sink and tub drain smelt like vomit/also plugged so the water filled around your feet in the tub.. dirty taps and shower head. Smelled terrible, coffee station had open sugar and had not been cleaned, fridge was frosted up and running all night improper cooling lobby smelled of air freshener so strong you could smell it in white spot. I cried on the first night knowing my daughter was sleeping in this room… I’m sorry, but I felt extremely disappointed and embarrassed that I chose the grand park hotel. Worst room I have ever stayed in

It was very nice. 3 star, but I had a better view, larger room, more relaxing, and cheaper stay than I did in 4 star properties in the area. I stayed at the Parq for 3x the cost and what a piece of garbage that was - probably needed to spend 10x to get similar there.

There was construction going on around the property at the time, but it didn't affect my stay beyond being a bit harder to get into the parking area. Staff had already sent me a diagram detailing how to get in.

Location was okay but more on the dingy part of downtown.

We found quite a few bugs running around our room right away. They gave us a new room and comped our night but quite unsettling to have to move rooms at 1am

It was well priced for the excellent location. I was staying as a result of a delayed flight so I was happy to find a decent hotel that would let you check in at 2 a.m.

It's clean and pleasant but worn looking around the edges. Needs a little spruce up.

I liked that’s nice and clean

The location was good, the construction made it a hassle locating the property and made it complicated to go back if you’re driving.

A few of the employees were very rude.I requested late check out and was given the okay only to have them calling and knocking at 11am

Room too small and need of renovation, difficulty finding and accessing the parking with construction on street and nearby, bit of a seedy area.

Cleanliness and location

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was in good location to Granville island, there was a tim Hortons nearby for breakfast which was handy. The shower had decent pressure Laundry on site was really helpful.

The room was a studio with a small kitchen. Upon entering the room there was a smell like a stuffy smell or a cooking smell. The cooktop fan was going so this indicated to us that the cleaners knew about the smell or it was obvious and they were trying to get rid of it. Possibly due to the cold weather and lack of air circulation or ventilation there was alot of water or condensation pooling on the floor at the windows so any shoes or items left near the windows were wet. We didn’t bother saying anything to the staff as we were only in the room to sleep. The building was older so could probably do with a freshen up. The road works / construction outside the building for our whole stay was a bit annoying just navigating the engrave especially in the rain. We couldn’t get dropped off at the door with all our luggage due to construction so we had to get out on the corner of the busy Granville street in the rain upon arriving.

Garage ceiling was very low, had to remove roof rack to get inside.

Es un hotel sencillo pero fue muy bueno por el precio tan accesible, estuvo limpio, habitación amplia. Es sencillo, un poco viejo pero por el precio no nos quejamos. El personal muy amable.

Furniture needs a refurbish!

Access to shops etc was great, service good.

Our shower didn’t work well at all which made it difficult for the 4 of us. Bath kept filling up. Told reception but no change on our last morning so couldn’t have a shower.

Great staff, clean and modern, with a WhiteSpot restaurant attached to the building.

Very very firm mattress - felt like I was sleeping on a board. They have coffee pots which is a start but need to go to coffee pod machines and as the rooms have a small fridge, small milk pods in the fridge. It is not in a particularly great area, but is not far from the airport and also the central shopping area is only 20 mins walk away.
