It was quiet and clean.
Less views. And expensive according to the facilities provided.
8.0
It was a nice room but very noisy during the night with all the outside traffic etc/
The fact we had to pay for parking when staying overnight was a huge shock. There was no free parking anywhere at Sun Peaks for overnight guests.
5.0
That I had to pay for an person in my room when it had already 2 beds. Paying to park my car.

Great front-end staff (Amanda) and the staff attentive to our needs
Better SEO that leads us directly to sun peaks lodge website.

Location
9.0
Location of the hotel is perfect in a ski in / ski out section of the village less than 500 metres to the lifts and close by to bars and restaurants
Could do with a few more restaurants in the village as choice of cuisine ie bar food got very repetitive over the 10 days we were in resort

clean close to all amenities
no stairs always had to wait for an elevator to go up and down one floor

The staff were helpful, check in was quick and easy, hotel was clean and comfortable
The elevator wasn’t working and I got stuck in there for 10 minutes

Great location. Step out the door and ski down pedestrian walkway to lifts. Steam room and sauna were nice. Underground parking was a plus.

How much the price went up in the last year

Hotel was in a great location, was very clean and rooms were very comfortable
The hours of use for the spa facilities were not great as they are not open in the mornings

I like the ski in - ski out, though the Sundance is better.
You meet lots of people from all over the world which is cool especially Australians
Way too much chlorine in the hot tub, which myself and other guests found it was very irritating on our eyes
( have experienced previously at the Sun Peaks Lodge)
For just over $400/ night the room was quite small and no convenience kitchen (though it was clean and comfortable)
Paying for parking especially outside. What a cash-grab rip-off! And had to go out in the morning and spend a good 10 minutes digging my car out with snow like concrete, because the plow truck had buried me in

well appointed rooms in the heart of the resort with easy slope access. minor issue with a leak was dealt with promptly and efficiently.

The room was good, the saunas were great.
The hallways and common areas smelled terrible. The staff member who checked me in was great. However, another staff member was curt, unfriendly, and unhelpful in multiple interactions. Very understandable not to be able to meet a request, but it is not ok to respond as if a guest is an inconvenience for asking. The refrigerator in my room was very loud. I would have appreciated if the TV allowed me to sign into my own Prime or Netflix account, as have the last 5 hotels I've stayed in over the past year.

Breakfast was excellent. Convenient. Quick, self serve.
The 5 am snow clearing awoke us every morning. That was difficult. Everything else was great.

Excellent location, comfortable parking, spa were great! Daily room service was a nice surprise! Kitchen was super handy since we traveled with kids and cooked our breakfast/dinner a few times
We travelled with two kids and had a king room with sofa bed. Sofa can realistically accommodate one person, two kids can’t fit in and it’s rather flimsy with thin mattress. Daily room service was very good, however we were 4 in the room and were only getting 1 set of bath essentials. Coffee/tea in the kitchenette weren’t refilled daily, so plan to bring/buy your own.
