The breakfast was pretty standard. It was the same every morning. Sufficient.

The carpet in the hallways were musty and torn. The hotel charged my card before my arrival, then place an additional $50 a day hold on my card upon check-in, and placed an ADDITIONAL $300 hold (the amount of the stay), for a total of $750 hold on my bank account for a 3 night stay in a minimal hotel.

The front desk staff were professional. Very friendly.

The female employee (lady) in charge of breakfast was very unfriendly. I thought of my family like beggars. Our family felt humiliated. To other family members... She should stay home and not work.

The location was great. the breakfasts was diecious and warm. Room was on the 1st floor which was great and room was indeed really clean.

I feel like 99% of the motels / motels give you until noon to check out. I understand some people might have a few extra items to carry so passing a few minutes is fine. However in the location the check out time was 11:00 am, which i wasn't award of. i figured it was at noon like many other hotels i have previously stayed at. the cleaning lady approached me firsts and explained to her, about the time misunderstanding and moved along to the next room as i gathered all my things together. Maybe 5 min later the front lady knocks and tells me if am ready to check out as i have passed 10 min from my checking out time. I tell her that i wasn't aware of the checking out time a gives me a few minutes more as i tell her am almost ready. Once i see her in the front she gave me this look as i didn't care about the check out time, but i still was nice about it and explained that the afternoon lady didn't explain the checking out time with me. I feel like she and the cleaning lady could of been a little misunderstanding regarding the mix up.

Felt it was run down. i. e. Carpet in foyer and hall 1st floor worn down. In one place, it was a tripping hazard for a. Older person like me. There were lots of guys in pickups sitting and drinking in their truck beds in the parking lot every night. As a single older woman, I didn’t feel particularly safe walking out to my car. The breakfast was medium - liked the eggs and sausage. Would have liked some fresh fruit. Only juice choice was apple. Basically it just had an edge of being worn down. I didn’t request the 1st floor. There was a lot of traffic in the hallway at night. I have had much better experiences at La Quintas in the past so was disappointed. Finally, the lighting in the bedroom was very dark, making it hard to read.
