Very unsafe area felt very unsafe when going out to get something to eat

I enjoyed the breakfast and the cleanliness of the room. The location was okay, but the route to the hotel was not pleasant. It was not clean and made me wonder if I would be safe staying there. However, the hotel was clean and I would stay there again.
I did not like the sink being outside the bathroom. The door to the bathroom did not close. The shower door did not stay close when showering. I did not complain because I was only staying on night, but I did tell the staff at check out.
