Great location, close distance to Huntington Pier & Main Street. Able to hire nice cruiser bikes to travel around which was great fun. Handy to have the walk bridge to beach. Room was nice and big for the 3 of us to stay in with walk-in wardrobe and large bathroom with stand alone bath & separate shower. That was after we asked to pay for an upgrade as first room we were allocated wasn't great. The room we ended up in had a great view overlooking the water feature in the hotel and the beach.

Bedroom & bedsheets were very clean but bathroom/toilet was not cleaned properly, dust & other people's hair collecting in corners of toilet/bathroom. Our complimentary water was not replaced in the entire time we stayed there which was poor considering 2 bottles everyday were meant to be included in the amenities fees we paid. When we mentioned it to front desk they just offered to give us two bottles from them rather than address the situation and make sure it was resolved during our stay. So many private functions and sales conferences going on that sometimes certain areas/restaurants weren't available for us to use. Had we known that we wouldn't have booked to stay here as the cost is very high if the facilities aren't available. Guests staying beneath us constantly smoking on the balcony which wasn't pleasant when we wanted to sit on our balcony. We mentioned this to the hotel & they said they weren't allowed to smoke & said they would sort it. But unfortunately, the guests continued to smoke. It felt the hotel had lost the high standards we had received on previous trips. It is ok but I'd say its more of the standard of Hyatt Newport Beach now, mainly geared for standard business trips. Not the family hotel we have used it for before.

We had a King room with a full view of the ocean and it was beautiful. The only thing we missed was the actual sun setting. The building next to us was in the way of seeing the sunset. But when the sun set the sky was many beautiful colors. We really loved our room.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Excellent service. Loved the spa and room service.

The only restaurant open for lunch at the time was the main restaurant. There was no bartender working and the menu was VERY limited.

Location, water slides for kids , self checkout

Little outdated rooms, food at the pool horrible, nonheakthy options at all, service inattentive, no fresh cocktails, (pina colada mix from a plastic bottle, loaded with sugar)

Location was great and we had a beautiful view of the ocean.

Housekeeping did not come to clean room each day. We had to ask for clean towels, coffee pods, tp, etc.

Great resort!
