This might sound weird, but it's very convenient that a "Grand Traverse Pie Company" store is in the near by strip Mall. And although I haven't taken advantage of it yet, Metzger's restaurant is in the same strip mall.
The main access driveway from Zeeb road does not have any visible signage, so it is impossible find it at night.

The welcome desk woman was awesome. Very hospitable and funny. Was a very long drive that day so being greeted by someone like her made all the difference haha.
Our door was unlocked when we arrived to it and there was a big hard alcohol bottle in our fridge so it looked like someone was using the room

The room was not ready. Bathroom shower was not clean and the sink was clogged.

There was urine on the toilet seat and hair on the bathroom floor so I reclaim the toilet myself I didn't feel comfortable calling and complaining. If the mess was much bigger I would have.

The air inn the room sounded like a jet taking off when it started n stopped.

The pool room could use some way to lessen the sound. The kids in pool makes it really, really loud in the room.

The room was wonderful. Beautiful, great bed and mattress, no horrible lights on the clock or TV, great desk and fantastic office chair. Perfect temperature. Friendly and competent reception. Quiet. Perfect location for me. The wifi worked fine.
Breakfast was negligible.
There should be a sign in the room about checkout time and the hours for breakfast.
One night, a fire alarm went off at around 6am. There was no fire.
The shower created a puddle on the bathroom floor, but it was easily absorbed by the extra towels.

Found a dead bug in my bed was worried they didn't really change bedding before I got there

Location was good for us.
We didn't eat breakfast there.
The bed was very uncomfortable! We didn't sleep well!
Also we had two bath towels, not enough.
And the trash had not been emptied when we arrived.
We had trouble connecting to internet and when we called the front desk they said WE had to call their IT group!!

The staff was rude and very unprofessional my card got charged for a cleaning fee that they cannot explain and I have OCD i know that there is no reason that there should have ever been any cleaning fee charged I actually left their room cleaner than I arrived in it because of my OCD I literally come in and wiped the entire room down with alcohol and it was pretty gross I tried to call many times and talk to a manager but could never get a response or a call back

staff was amazing and very polite and accommodating, facility was clean, pool was nice and hot tub was awesome. Breakfast was delicious and actually a hot breakfast not just cereal, oatmeal and yogurt like some hotels.
The only thing I could say that could be considered a negative is the sofa bed isn’t very comfortable but at the same time, not many are!
