Very friendly, clean, and good food at the next door diner

It was in the town we wanted to stay in

The beds were uncomfortable the door wouldn’t shut and we had difficulties with the key card

The staff was friendly & knowledgeable.

The stay was fine. Nothing special, but adequate.

The guys at the diner were very nice.

Everything else. Dirty room, makeup on sheets. Dirt/crumbs all over fridge. Brown smears on shower walls! Overall gross! Shotgun and handgun shells in the parking lot. I felt unsafe as a solo traveler, worried about the safety of my car, and left at first light. I want my money back since the place lived up to nothing.

The diner was fun. Neat to find a period diner in this remote little town that used to be a major east-west town for road travelers to stop for food and lodging prior to it being bypassed by the interstate highway system.

The lighting in the parking lot is almost non-existent. It the parking lot was well lit this would have been a perfect stay.

Staff wasn't very professional. Housekeeping left a bit to be desired.

the food was good i am guessing they have an employee shortage very inefficient, one person on duty to either check in or check out customers and take food orders and fulfill food orders

no check in office or office at the hotel no ice or if it was there i don't know where it was located not sufficient exterior lighting

Really clean and pleasant. Nice and airy rooms!

The manager did not train the staff. The nice lady at the desk tried her best but could not find my booking com reservation so I ended up being double booked and paying the higher price for the room. Manager could not be contacted by the staff or me.

The room was clean and spacious. But they used the COVID concern as an excuse for no bedspread/comforter. That made it look like someone forgot to finish their job.

They need a larger sign at the driveway/sidewalk telling you to register at the diner next door. There's no lobby. I was on crutches and had to walk to the entry door before seeing the sign and had to walk even more. Really inconvenient.

no breakfast

did not get room we booked, we were to have a king bed instead we ended up with a full. not comfortable. we were told by raymond that all the king rooms were promised to another group and they never showed up. the lighting in parking lot was bad.

NO breakfast

Didn't replace towels, short on toilet paper, TV worked but was a dish and received minimum stations, mostly shopping networks. Phone message light blinked continuously

Not much.

Worn out facility. Entry doors didn't work...we had to enter the building via the staff laundry room stepping over laundry on the floor. That door was not locked so anyone else wanting to enter the building could just walk in. The parking lot was dark. We were a bit worried about our vehicle but nothing happened. The room carpet was dated. We booked a King but when we checked in at 8 pm it had not been cleaned so we took a double room. I don't think it was clean either but the bed was made and we 'made do' for the night.
