Lovely breakfast and polite staff

Only fault - beds a little stiff

Super nice authentic Riad with a nice view on the rooftop. Also the interior is amazingly designed and carefully selected by the friendly owner Lenaick.

This riad is very conveniently situated in Marrakesh, just next to the Bahia Palace and 5 minutes from the main square. I was traveling alone and I felt very safe in the area. There are 4 rooms, 2 on the 1st floor and 2 on the 2nd floor. The ground floor is used for the office, the kitchen, the library (nice room to relax!) and the breakfast room. I came with a shuttle that I booked myself and even though it was 1am when I got out of the airport, all went smoothly. There's a parking close to the alley where the riad is located which is where the shuttle dropped me and with the pictures Lénaïck had sent me to orientate myself, the riad was easy to find. There are many restaurants around and Lénaïck has some very good suggestions.

The bed was very hard... It didn't bother me personally but it may bother some.

the owner is an amazing person, very helpful in everything you need. the staff is also excellent, the way they treat you make you feel like home. location is perfect to visit the Medina also if you need a cab.

The position in a quiet street within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. The welcome and helpfulness of the owner and staff. The roof terrace. The decoration and authentic features of the house.The breakfast was simple, but varied every day with typical dishes. We were offered eggs as well as fresh fruit and orange juice, bread with jams, cheese or honey and typical pancakes.

Because of the time of year, it was a little cold in the breakfast area which is off the beautiful patio.

Had a wonderful stay at Dar Taliwint. Lénaïck was a wonderful and generous host, the rooms comfy and tastefully decorated, the location, in the Kasbah but on a quiet street, ideal, breakfast fresh and tasty, and the roof terrace a perfect place to relax away from the bustle of the medina.

Very nice riad in a wonderful central location but still quiet. Lénaïck is a very sympathetic host. He welcomes you very friendly and supports you with very good tips about the surroundings. We immediately felt very comfortable here. The room was very tastefully furnished, very clean and the beds comfortable. The beautiful roof terrace invites you to relax.

the owner was very kind and very helpful, he helped us immediately with what we needed, he informed us about the sights and museums of the city and he was willing to help immediately .. the accommodation was very clean and beautiful.. comfortable room and delicious breakfast.. it was located in the center of the city, very close to everything.. our flight to go was very early in the morning and he gave us a bag with food and fruits for our trip..

Lenaïc, the owner, was super helpful and you can tell this Riad is his little baby. Every detail is thoughtful and you feel very welcomed. Saida, prepares every morning a delicious breakfast with one special thing for every different day. If you would like to have better Wifi choose a room in the first floor, not in the second. Definitely recommend eating dinner there, as Saida is a awesome cook. Better to announce it one or even two days before since the ingredients will be bought especially for you. We enjoyed our stay very much and thanks to Lenaïc we could easily book tables or a stay in a Hammam.

The owner and the staff are very friendly, caring and helpful. Saida makes great pancakes for breakfast and keeps the whole place super tidy and Lenaïck is more then happy to help you with anything you need (unless you are well versed with negotiating cab fare in Morocco, you are well advised to let him organise the transport to and from airport). The third member of the staff I forgot his name, and we rarely interacted, since he is in charge of the place during the night, but he the few times we did, he was super friendly too. As for the place itself, the room was squeaky clean and well equipped. While the bed and chairs are on the hard side, one of us did not mind, while the other minded just a tiny bit. There is no TV, but honestly, that was a benefit to the overall experience. Location-wise it is in a quiet alley (relatively speaking, of course) in the medina, but you are just a stone-throw away from the busy parts. And there is a parking lot very near too.

The WiFi in our room was a bit dodgy.

Dar Taliwint is just an amazing place to stay in Marrakesh. It is perfectly located, comfortable, beautifully decorated and has wonderful and very helpful staff. Great value and very authentic riad experience, the breakfast is superb and you will feel tempted to not leave the place at all despite having an amazing city outside to discover.

Very warm welcome by the owner, who took plenty of time to explain us about the house and Marrakesh. We loved the peacefulness of the Dar, especially when coming back from an afternoon in Marrakesh. Amazing rooftop terrace!
