Fantastic location, great space and facilities in the house. Everything was clean and in good working order, including the air conditioners in each room.

This property is a well equipped, comfortable and clean holiday rental. It has a beautiful view located on banks of Lake Macquarie, with an expansive lawn area going down to the lake (100 m approx). A note for anyone bringing a kayak that a trolley would be beneficial as the slope is lengthy and rather steep coming back up from the lake. Also be aware the launch area is rocky not sandy. I had some lovely kayaks during my stay especially at sunrise. There are several boat ramps nearby if wanting to go further afield. My group used 4 bedrooms and all found them comfortable. The two bathroom areas allowed for ease of use. The outdoor area is well maintained and offers a lovely quiet space to reflect and enjoy the lake views. Neighbours share the driveway, but this was not a problem at all. The wheelie bin helped identify the driveway especially at night. Communication with the owner was very good. They obviously care about their property and want their guests to enjoy it.

The location was excellent for a sailing regatta. We will look at staying there again in the future. You can keep you boat on the property and there is good water access off the grass.

"How's the serenity!" - what a lovely, tranquil spot - the perfect place to unwind, surrounded by birdlife, with a beautiful view of the lake. But you are not so isolated that you can't get food - Coles up the road with takeaway options as well. Our family loved having a table tennis option to occupy the kids. We were able to take early morning 30-35 minute drives to enjoy the Pink Caves, Ghosties Beach caves and Bongon Beach. We also explored Wangi and from there saw a stunning sunset across the lake. You can enjoy sunrises from the comfort of the Lakehouse. This property is obviously extremely well cared for and communication with Reservation is second to none. If you are looking for a place to stay with another family, the layout is perfect for two families, and each family would have its own bathroom on the same side of the house as their bedrooms.
