This is a beautifully restored historic home with modern rooms. The floor heating was very welcome and the beds were very comfortable. The view of the garden in flower was lovely. Very quiet. Little details made our stay even more pleasant- like plates, knives and forks and a supply of loose leaf tea with a teapot.

Lovely staff, incredible rooms, honestly can’t fault it. The rooms are so clean and cosy and the fire is amazing. Really well designed rooms and beautiful facilities

The bath, and the showers were amazing. The location was nice and the interiors of the hotel were very ambient and artsy.
The exhaust fan of the showers weren’t very strong and caused the fire alarm to ring because of the steam which gave us bit of a panic.

Beds not comfortable, neighbor was noisy, very poor soundproofing.

The room was so luxurious, the bed was magnificent. The heated floors were amazing and the electric fire place kept us warm all night

It is a magnificent building and the rooms are large
and spacious and have beautiful architecture.
It was disappointing that the bed, cupboard
and the kitchenette did not match the period of the rest of the room. It could have been such a magnificent room otherwise, but just looked wrong. There was no microwave, no lift to get the bags up and the plants were wilted. Just looked bad on arrival.

Beautifully designed large and quiet rooms. Incredible views
Gardens are unkempt which is a shame for such a magnificent property. Small touches like having the bottled water replaced for our second night would have been nice.

Had an amazing three days at Maylands Lodge. Great location and the lodge itself is stunning. Highly recommend 10/10

The building was beautiful but disappointed we were in the modern part at back, feels a little isolated as no restaurant or breakfast facilities very little staff
