I always book here if there is an available room or apartment. This accommodation is located in the most beautiful part of Funchal, close to everything, restaurants, shops, bus stop, the market, the sea! The building itself is beautiful inside and out, extremely clean, tastefully furnished. Easy check-in, access to the building and apartments with a code. José is a very good host, any requests or questions arise, he responds almost within minutes via the booking messenger. I simply cannot find a better accommodation in Funchal, even though I have been in Madeira 7 times. Also at other accommodations, of course, since there is often no free space at the Edifício Charles so we are forced to book elsewhere.

Location was great, staff was often there cleaning other units and were always friendly and responsive. Allowed us to drop off our bags early so we could return our rental car. Very clean, great location right in the centre of Funchal and close to everything. A bit of night noise but to be expected in the heart of the city, the city crew washes the streets and empties and garbage overnight - we used a white noise app on our phone and it was fine. Very nice hosts.

Very clean and modern, nice and central with very helpful and friendly staff. Best accommodation we have had out of six trips to Maderia, and they have all been good.

Location, comfort and size of the appartment. Well - equipped, no problems to prepare breakfast or other meals. The towels were changed twice during our one week stay. Very good contact with the host. Jose - thank you very much for wonderful stay.

It was very clean they vere very helpfull the cithcen was fully equipped

I loved how easy it was to find the property (aerobus, stop 6, avenido da mar) 5minutes walk from the bus stop. I adored the cleaning lady, she was so sweet and professional ! The property had everything for a comfortable stay.

Since it is located at the center of Funchal it can be noisy in the evening (the noise stops around 11pm) best to take some earplug for a good night sleep.

Wonderful location, less busy and the most enjoyable of our stays.
