The outside of the house was not as nice as the pictures, there was also 5 mattresses that stood next to the door, the inside of the house was very nice with a lot of space and rooms. There was a nice path to walk along. There isn't much around it however so if you're going here, there isn't much to do other than stay in the house. Also, bring your own cleaning supplies and towels none of that was provided.

Our group does an end of the ski season trip to Gore each year and this is our 2nd time staying at this property and 4th time staying at one of Vasili's properties. As always, communication was excellent and again we were accommodated a late checkout ...a must for Sunday skiing! We will definitely be booking here and/or with Vasili again.

10 of us stayed here for a ski trip for the president weekend. Its a short drive to Gore mountain. the house is cozy and the property manager is very helful and easy to work with. checkin is a little bit confusing, since ~10 properties/cabins share the same address and google map does not lead to exact location. we arrived at late night and there was absolutely no cellphone signal in the area. It took us 30 minutes to figure out from property manager Dick which exact one we rented (we actually knock on Dicks door and woke him up) . I felt the checkin instruction should have been more clear and really surprised nobody had same issue before. some furnitures in the house definately need repair but other than that we enjoined to stay for four days. My friend left some clothes behind and much appreciated Dick to mail them back to her.

The property, the home, the area was all great! Home is large enough for a huge family. Its very cozy and comfortable. Not sure if it was just us, but we felt like we were being spied on. Rented this property to host a family Thanksgiving dinner due to my fiance and I moving South in November. First, the property page/description did not say the pet fee pee dog (or at least I did not see it and the homeowner never showed me where to find it), the description just stated dog friendly. We paid the pet fee that was requested plus the property damage protection fee. First night, the property manager contacted the homeowner stating we had alot of dogs in the home. The homeowner requested an extra extreme amount! Understandable because some guests let their pets tear up rentals. However, this was not the case with ours. Plus, we were not informed of the extra pet fees. The second day, the property manager arrived in the morning and cleaned out the fire pit. Great! Later on that day, my sisters showed up for the Thanksgiving dinner. The property manager barged in stating he tried to call us on the landline but we wouldn't answer. The phone never rang. He saw a new vehicle in the drive way and had to find out whats going on. We were at the tail end of our Thanksgiving Dinner when he showed up and came in and continued to question us. My sisters felt so unwelcome, we didn't even finish our family get together and they left. The property manager then went on to say that he dumpster dives once guests check out and to save him the trouble of doing that by not throwing anything out. To top that off, the homeowner really didn't seem to care how we felt about being interrupted during Thanksgiving dinner. As a property manager myself, I would NEVER show up on guests as much as we were checked up on. If we had issues, then yes but otherwise... Leave us alone!

The property is beautiful with open space for playing sports outdoors. The kids enjoyed the pool which is situated in the center of all the other smaller cabins, very well kept. My family and I enjoyed out time by the fire pit roasting marshmallows and drinking coffee in the evenings. Many of the furniture is in need of an upgrade including sofa, beds and kitchen cabinets. There were some parts of the house that required deeper cleaning. Easy to communicate with the property manager and overall we had a great time.

This location was great! The house had plenty of room for our large families, was clean and in a beautiful setting. The property owner was very helpful. Our kids loved having a pool to swim in. It would be a great place for multiple families to rent the house and the small cottages to spend time together.

Had an awesome time at the cabin, very spacious not too far for Lake George's Village. Kids loved the pool very clean.

We came to Gore for a ski race with an eclectic mix of teens, parents, grandparents and a coach. The house worked beautifully! Plenty of room to spread out and everyone has their own space. The house has everything you need and more. The beds were all comfortable and it was clean. We would definitely come back next time we head to Gore. Location is very convenient for what we needed and it was very peaceful. Hosts were gracious and accommodating and easily reachable.

This home is a rustic ski house, but everything worked including heat and hot water. The care taker was wonderful and even cleared the snow off the BBQ so we could grill steaks in January.

Our group of 11 plans 4-6 ski trips a year and we always end our season at Gore Mountain. This is our 2nd time staying at a property owned by Vasili and as usual we were not disappointed. House was fantastic, clean and just as described. 10 minutes from the mountain. Communication with Vasili and the property manager was as easy as could be. Thank you for another great stay! We look forward to returning to Gore and Vasili's properties next year.

Great getaway from city life! My group and I had a great weekend on this property. It was exactly as described, nice pool, fire pit and lawn to play games. Dick was very accomodating upon our arrival and Vasili was quick to reply to any questions I had leading up to our stay. Would definitely come back up for another vacation with a big group and stay for longer than a weekend since it flew by. Thanks for everything!

This is the first time we ever rented a house. There were 16 of us. The sleeping configurations were perfect. The house was your rustic cabin in the woods that made you feel right at home. We loved the antiques and the decor. The dining room table fit almost all of us. The kitchen was perfect and the extra fridge was great. The property was lovely with beautiful flowers pots all around. The kids loved the pool which was nicely maintained. We loved the fire pit and there was plenty of seating. You can acquire firewood easily or bring your own. It was 25 minutes to Lake George and 50 minutes to Saratoga. Dick, the caretaker was sweet and very friendly. There are four smaller cabins that are adorable and also well kept. We would recommend this property and would happily return. As we sat around the fire and looked at the sky, which was heavily sprinkled with stars, we relaxed and enjoyed nature. On the mountain it seemed as if the stars were closer. Beautiful!

I recommend this place for all. We had 18 people including child. This place has big yard for play.. burnfire.. and other activities. The manager was so polite and helpful all the time. I would like to visit this place for next summer too.

My family and I (group of 17 including two children) absolutely loved our time here! Plenty of room for all of us. It was nice to be close enough to the lake/downtown, but removed enough so we weren't in the hustle and bustle of it all. The pool was amazing and even though it was shared, we were always the only ones using it. I was a little worried when I read it was salt, but it barely tasted salty at all and it stayed really clean. The property manager, Dick was great. We all loved him! We will definitely be back next year!

House was totally amenable to 13-member family plus dog. Kids loved the pool and the grounds. Adults loved the scenery and area. Management took care of any issues right away and very courteously. Would stay again.

A group of about 15 friends in mid-20's stayed for New Year's Weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The place was set up with mostly everything you could need and the property manager, Dick, was very kind and informative. Unfortunately there wasn't enough snow for us to go skiing, but we were able to enjoy ourselves nonetheless. We would definitely recommend this property to any prospective renters.
