We came to see Hamilton and have a girls night. Very clean and cute home! Would stay there again!

Communication and cleanliness were great. Unfortunately we could hear someone snoring and a TV on all evening upstairs.

Can’t beat it for the money - 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, washer & dryer in the unit, and the TV options were fantastic (I think it was Roku smart TV). The reason we only gave it a 4 star review was that the closets were 75% full of stuff (plastic bins and stuffed animals); we had to use one of the beds for our toiletries as there wasn’t much room in the medicine cabinet or under the sink due to the owners (?) stuff; and half the freezer was taken up by popsicles boxes and in the fridge the were 5 eggs left in the carton and a package of english muffins with one missing. So, from all appearances, it looks like either the owners or their relatives live there part time. Definitely NOT a reason to avoid the place, just understand going in that the property is family first, renters second. We would certainly stay there again.

This was a great find. Not only was the property within a short driving distance to the hospital, it was close to food spots, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Would stay again!

Clean, good location, and quiet. Appreciated the kitchen being stocked for DYI breakfasts. Kitchen was setup suitable for us to prepare other meals as well.

Clean and quiet

I was in town for a minor shoulder surgery. This property was a great recovery location. The space was warm, cozy and quiet. The bed was super comfy which was so nice after my procedure.

Virtually no communication from host other than how to get in unit. No indication of how to dump the trash, expectations regarding check-out or cleaning. One bed was too high to get into (and no step or stool provided). Other bed was rock hard. Hard to regulate the heat (and face it, Alaskan springs can be brutal for someone from sunnier climes). House was clean, spare, and okay.

Perfect basement apartment. Everything you could need was already there. Great communication and was able to check in early. I will be staying again whenever I need overnight accommodations. Thank you for opening your home!

Nice, clean, pet friendly, cozy place to enjoy time in Anchorage. Appreciated the coffee and handy snacks.

This is an easy, comfortable, quiet and very convenient place to stay. The property manager was very helpful.

Worked perfect for a hockey weekend

As advertised. Great location and fairly easy to access. Would stay there again on future trips to the big city.

The vrbo website said it “an error occurred” when I tried to book so I went ahead and booked another place since I wasn’t able to confirm this rental. Then I was checking my email and saw that somehow this booking had confirmed even though the website for vrbo had not confirmed but glitched out. So I immediately called vrbo and then the owner the owner would not cancel and refund my booking even though I explained that the website had failed to work correctly and that it was within minutes of the email coming through that I reached out. Then the property owner told me she could not refund the money. This was a lie and when I spoke to vrbo they said she could refund my money. I would never book with her again because I run a vacation rental business with integrity and I am not going to support someone being so greedy for a booking that they don’t care to fix an honest mistake. This place was not in a nice neighborhood and is in a basement that was hard to get the luggage in and out of the stair well because there is no where to set it while you open the door at the bottom of the stairs. I had a luke warm bath because apparently we ran out of hot water on the first bath. The place was clean and comfortable otherwise. There are no views you are looking out basement windows I would not pay more than 100 a night to stay in this place.

This was a great stop between AK adventures for the two of us. We did laundry, packed up for the next thing on our list, got a good nights sleep and headed out again. Perfect and quiet location for us.

Property was clean and it was nice to stay in an apartment after several hotels. Space had been adequately cleaned but cupboards, countertops and refrigerator was filled with owner’s food, and bathroom with owner’s personal bath products. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. All in all not a bad place but these things made it less than excellent

Enjoyed our stay in this downstairs apt in a quiet residential neighborhood. Super clean, nice living space, comfy beds, fluffy towels, yummy food, complete privacy, easy drive to lots of parks and hikes. Highly recommend and would gladly stay here again!

A comfortable apartment with well stocked kitchen. The owners took great care in making a welcome environment. There was anything you could need in the kitchen. It was very quiet. Neighborhood looks a bit rough in places, but nothing was sketchy. It would have been nice to have local channels on a TV. It was strictly Roku. The bath was good size, clean and with a variety of toiletries. My wife was particularly happy to have facial cleansing wipes. The only negative was the beds. The mattresses were either worn out or really cheap. There was no support at all. There was an additional mattress topper that really just made it worse. If you are a back sleeper, it'll work. We aren't and it didn't.

This was the perfect place for us to stay with our 4 year old son. We had all the amenities of home but we were able to spend our days exploring Alaska!

Great! 10/15 min from train depot and airport. We came in on train and left on flight. Very clean and great TVs and bed was amazing along with bedding and towels. Fan in bedrooms and everything and more that we needed. Will decently use again next year.

Clean, well stocked property, not far from all services. Maia was an excellent host.

We really enjoyed staying here. It is quiet, clean, comfortable and the owner was great. We will stay here again next time we come to town.
