Ocean Front - Direct Beach Access Construit sur l'île d'Amelia en 1983, ce répit pittoresque en bord de mer ne comprend que neuf villas spacieuses. Chaque unité est directement en bord de mer avec une cuisine, une salle à manger et un salon qui s'ouvre sur une terrasse en bord de mer. Un escalier relie chacun des trois étages. Une promenade privée vous emmène à la plage. Les condos de la Maison du Capitaine sont un endroit parfait pour des escapades tranquilles, de merveilleuses réunions de famille ou des vacances. Ce sont une location de vacances de premier choix à Amelia Island!

The biggest highlight is the location. Being right on the water with an excellent ocean view was truly hard to beat, and access to the beach was incredibly quick and easy. If proximity to the beach is your top priority, this place definitely delivers.We also appreciated the responsiveness of maintenance. When we arrived, the sink was backing up, but someone came out the next morning and resolved the issue promptly.That said, the unit itself needs attention. It was in need of a deep clean. Our feet would turn black just from walking on the floors, and there was noticeable dust buildup on the walls. We also encountered a pillowcase with what a red substance on it, which was concerning.The dryer was another issue. It took multiple cycles (around five) to fully dry a single load of laundry, and we found damp towels left folded on top of the dryer when we arrived. Overall, while the location is fantastic, the cleanliness and maintenance of the unit didn’t meet expectations. This unit has the potential to be top notch once these concerns are addressed but until then we will look elsewhere.

What can I say about this condo that’s good? The location. Other than that not so much. There was no privacy you had to share a balcony with eight other condos.The cleaning was nonexistent. There was hair in both bathtubs from previous tenant (gross). There were food items under the master bedroom bed, the vent in master bathroom was broken. Beach umbrella broken, no beach towels, blender top was missing. Expected a lot more for the price we paid. We’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO condos and this was one of the worst!!
