I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Budva! The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The staff were extremely nice, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. Everything was top-notch, and I was really impressed with the overall quality and service. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 – An unforgettable stay! We had such an amazing experience at Hotel HEC in Budva and truly have only wonderful things to say! Our room was beautiful, extremely clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The service was excellent throughout our entire stay, and every member of the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location was also perfect for us. The beach is just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel, which made everything so convenient. We visited during a quieter time of the year, and the whole area was incredibly peaceful and relaxing — exactly what we were looking for. What made our stay especially unforgettable was that my boyfriend had contacted the hotel just a few days before our arrival to arrange his proposal. The staff went above and beyond to help him organize everything on the rooftop of the hotel, and it turned into one of the most beautiful and special moments of our lives. ❤️ Their effort, kindness, and attention to detail meant so much to us and made the experience even more memorable. From the beautiful and clean room to the great location, peaceful atmosphere, exceptional service, and genuinely lovely staff, everything exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely recommend Hotel HEC to anyone visiting Budva and would happily stay here again. The stuff is very friendly and polite. The food is good. The rooms are spacious and pretty clean. High speed internet.

The rooms are not modern, and some of the furniture and fixtures are damaged—for example, there are broken mirrors and a chipped sink. The town also has neither many restaurants nor a promenade.

The Sunset views were spectacular. Nice big windows with clear views of the sea. It was a quick walk to a very nice little beach. The staff were extremely polite and responsive and spoke great English.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but this hotel needs feedback and Booking needs to adjust their recommendations. It felt like they are barely staying in business. The owner/manager seemed nervous and was constantly scrambling. The overall quality of the facility is sub three stars; mismatched toiletries like they were leftover from several hotels, cracking plaster, dirty grout in a small bathroom, curtains with burn holes and stains. Everything feels outdated. Was disappointed that the parking was €10 a night, or park on the street. The carpets in our room were absolutely filthy. They cleaned it thoroughly our second day there, but I had to complain. The mattress was what you would expect at a two star hotel, all of the furniture showed obvious signs of long wear. Very basic cheap towels that were fraying. The walk to the beach is down a very steep hill, lots of steps. Everything in the listing made us think that we were going to be basically beachfront. Directly out the front door, between the hotel and the sea, is the busiest road in the region with constant traffic of buses and trucks, motorcycles and tourists. The WiFi in the room never actually worked, and we had to connect to the room above ours, and that connection was always dropping us. We were hopeful from other reviews that the breakfast was going to be amazing, but it was very standard, fine.
