Bio Boutique Hotel XU' - Gruppo Ambienthotels

A wonderful experience from arrival to checkout—the best hotel on our Italy tour. We usually book 4-star hotels, so I was a bit hesitant at first. But the description and photos, on the one hand, and the lack of (supposedly) better alternatives, on the other, led us to this lucky find. We travel with 2 young children and a dog—it might not always be easy to meet all our needs, but this hotel left nothing to be desired. Parking in the hotel’s own lot was perfect. Plenty of space, stress-free unpacking right in front of the hotel entrance. We were actually a few hours (!) early; we just wanted to park and then pass the time at the beach until check-in—but our room was made available to us very quickly, and we were able to move right in. Overall, the welcome was very warm. Before I’d even officially checked in, my wife and I were served a cappuccino—just what we desperately needed after the long drive! The staff made a real effort to help us get familiar with the hotel. Plus: a free room upgrade (without even asking). The room was excellent! No unnecessary frills, but modern, absolutely clean, and free of any unpleasant odors. Breakfast was one of the best—if not the best—of our entire trip through Italy. Fresh, high-quality, delicious! There was something for every taste, from hearty to sweet. Even the coffee was delicious for us coffee lovers (perfetto!). The late checkout at noon is really great for us, as travelers who (unfortunately) only stayed one night! No rush at breakfast—we managed to go to the beach again with the kids and the dog for 1–2 relaxing hours before getting back in the car. Very convenient! And that sums it all up: an absolutely perfect stay. You really get the feeling that the management and the amazing staff understand the needs of travelers like us. But understanding alone isn’t enough—they also manage to put it into practice. That deserves a huge compliment and a big thank you. When we come back to Rimini, there’s only one place we’ll stay!

Frankly, I can’t think of anything... maybe the 3-star rating is a bit misleading. We’ve stayed in quite a number of 4-star hotels that are definitely inferior to the XU in Rimini in many respects. ;-))

Such a comfortable place to stay. We loved the breakfast room, also the breakfast. It is just a short walk to the beach and many restaurants. There is an elevator!

The breakfast was fabulous. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms and lobby decor was modern. Great location

Clean and aesthetic hotel. Dedicated child play room was a good addition. Reception staff were really helpful and friendly.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with a staff member named Sabrina who was in the breakfast area during our stay. We had an early flight to catch in the morning. So we were in a bit of a rush with our 2 year old. I appreciate she was doing something behind the counter but I politely asked for a high chair for our 2 year old. She replied rudely showing her anger and frustration in her face and told me to wait until she was finished what she was doing. I did not mean to disturb her and was not expecting her to stop what she was doing. I simply meant if she could arrange a high chair after she had finished what she was doing. After a while she came towards me and sarcastically asked what I wanted. Overall, this interaction left a negative impression of our stay, which was disappointing. I hope the hotel can address this and ensure that all guests, especially families travelling with young children, are treated with courtesy and respect.
