Great 5 stars hotel, big plus for the king size bed which was really huge and comfortable and for the Byredo products in the bathroom. Free of charge checkout time extension to 2 PM

I booked to stay at this hotel in Feb 2026 - with the expectation being that it had a pool so i could relax and cool down in the Malaysian Humidity.
Nowhere and at no time during booking was it mentioned that the pool would be closed for renovation (for quite some time).
The hotel staff offered a shuttle service to a hotel 15 minutes away to use the pool there, but its not the same is it. Think of that logistically for a moment. As a single traveller that was off-putting, but imagine having to deal with this with your family with young kids etc?
Not sure when the pool will re open.. but worth mentioning that there are 30 other hotels in the vicinity with pools, for cheaper rates.
