Mostly excellent, and extremely good value for money - we will definitely return. Both the room and bathroom were huge and all the main things were there. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

(We had an accessible room.) The bathroom had zero hooks and zero shelves. All the towels were put out on grab handles (not the safest place if the handle needs grabbing!). The sink (small) back was completely covered with things that needed a shelf. The shower should have been great, but the temperature and pressure control was the same lever - choose somewhere between a cold dribble to a hot blast. The room had a mirror and a chair (great) but the nearest power outlet was not close enough to use the hairdryer while looking in the mirror. The breakfast was limited but well cooked and presented. The breakfast bar was too small. The L shape meant it was really only one person at a time for tea, coffee, toast etc.

The meal on the Friday I arrived it was totally indigestable I asked for a simple sausage chips as the restuarant was noisy very busy what arrived was awful so told waitress who apologised anx can I get a sweet for you I said yes but at least that was tasty so sadly Friday nights seems not to be an ideal time to eat as I feel you must have put on limited staff to cook and attend the venue. So sadly that is the main negative part of the trip. Overall accomodation tidy lovely and clean reception area smart helpful staff. And breakfast was tasty, do feel you need a bigger area for folk to get cereal, coffee,tea as if two people were trying to sort out those items you would be falling all over each other thats needs to be sorted out. So Thanks for a nice stay apart from negative points I have raised and may well visit in future and hope food is up to a higher standard apart from breakfast freshly cooked the waiter was very helpful even getting me a glass of iced water a nice touch at the breakfast nothing seems to much trouble and also helped me with buses and directions to my conference center. One plus point bed was superb as with bath and shower (room 24) seems smart with big tv comfortable chairs and overall nice relaxing space. Would welcome a reply from the points raised.
