The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was nicely presented, hot and tasty. The rooms were comfortable, ventilated and warm. We would highly recommend The Angel. We will return.
The complimentary biscuits in the room we feel could have been improved on.

TV was a little too small in the room

We liked the sofa in the Avon suite, the outside courtyard garden and the booth seating in the bar. The charcuterie board was nice. Good location for visiting the Priory.
Check in and check out took longer than necessary. The shower adjustment mechanism was too loose and would not stay in position. The socket by the kettle didn’t work. The bar staff didn’t know how to make the advertised cocktail of the day.
