The breakfast was beautifully cooked and delicious. Janet, the owner, was very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed and turned our radiator on when we were chilly later in the evening. The dining room and guest lounge were very well appointed.
The location was quieter than we thought it would be so close to a main road and a roundabout.
We were surprised at the size of the bedroom as it was very small although it was adequate for our needs for an overnight stay. The ensuite was tiny, very cramped and in need of an update. The blind over the velux window was ripped and torn and really needed replacing.

The location was perfect for us and in a beautiful farmhouse, the room was a twin room and very comfortable and clean, Janet the owner was very accommodating and the breakfast was beautiful and she’d make whatever you wanted, on the second day I just wanted beans on toast and nothing is too much trouble.
We received a scam text from someone claiming to be an agent for booking dot com ( allegedly) and discovered that it was indeed a scam, I think people should be aware of the fact that our information is either sold or the website is hacked, these scammers had all our details from our holiday booking and anyone else may have fell for it. The few days away that we had we the best, and made some incredible memories on a problem free stay

Excellent breakfast. Good value accommodation. Great that we were allowed to use the lounge.
Decor is dated, the room was small. The bathroom was in a cupboard BUT all of this us reflected in the price.

Breakfast was very good
Room was small (attic of converted barn), Very hot with not even a fan (told that they had one but it was broken). Told to keep door open into hall for through draught. Toilet and bath/Shower shared in hall outside. Everywhere had a dated and somewhat shoddy feel.
