Two lady Reception afternoon of 6th Oct where VERY unhelpful (Stating Room had not been paid when it had). Not even explaining where breakfast was. VERY VERY Unwelcoming!
Thankfully all the other staff where lovely !!!

Location was great for what we originally wanted. Breakfast was good. The main areas of the hotel were nice, the grounds and lakeside location were lovely.
Courtyard room overlooked what can only be described as a service area, room was too hot so we had to have the window open (it wasn’t warm outside), which then made the noise from bottle bins being emptied, staff talking, pots pans cutlery etc even louder!
Beds weren’t comfy either - two of the worst nights sleep!
I probably wouldn’t have been so bothered but it’s not like this room was cheap at almost £500 for two nights! And that’s before food and drinks!
