Hotel Central

Excellent location, good breakfast, and daily housekeeping.

We were not offered the free public transport pass at check-in, even though we had booked four nights. We only found out about it by chance through friends. When I asked for it, I was told that I had to request it myself. I think it would be better to explain the available services and benefits to guests on arrival. The receptionist mumbled something about the sauna, but apparently we were expected to quiz him about the other facilities too! A kettle was also promised in the room when we booked, but there wasn’t one—perhaps we were supposed to ask for that as well.

The location was excellent, just a short 3 min walk to the popular market square. They have e-bikes available free of charge. Easy walk to the train station.

There is no air conditioning but the windows open.

Great location, helpful staff.

Parking instructions weren’t very clear and there’s lots of small steps into rooms so kept tripping up. Both minor things
