Hotel Victoria

Breakfast was good with a nice view over the sea. The evening meals and drinks were very good if a little bit on the high side but probably no more then other hotels. Our room was big with a king size bed that was very comfortable, a large tv, a sofa and 2 armchaires and again a lovely view over the sea. The shower/toilet room was large with a walk in shower.

Some of the windows would not shut or open properly, the one window that did open had dirt around the rim, the lighting in the bedroom/lounge would have been good but they had black/dark lampshades on that made the room look dark. A full size mirror would have been nice. The shower/toilet room looks a bit tired, there was a odd bit of floor covering by the toilet where it had been patched up, the hot water in the shower was a bit temperamental hot/warm, there was some spots of black mold in the corners of the shower tray. The above coments are only minor points don't let them put you off, we have stopped here 4/5 times before.

The location was good and the staff were really friendly. However, the lady on reception was very dismissive when we asked if the window in our room could be opened.

Our room was overlooking a flat roof and the car park. The windows were painted shut so there was no air. There was a fan but all that did was circulate stale air making me feel unwell.
