Lovely room and bathroom.
Very comfortable.
Lovely old style building and room with beams.
Excellent restaurant.
Convenient parking.
Welcoming staff.
Room was cold in the evening and we couldn’t turn on the radiator.
Spa was really nice but the steam room was exceptionally hot!

The hotel was nicely decorated and had all the facilities I needed. An EV charger! The restaurant food was excellent and there was a Spa too
The bed was not the most comfortable which disturbed my sleep as the mattress was far too hard for me

Lovely grounds and easy to find! We had the braised beef for dinner which was incredible!
When we first arrived, the receptionist was chatting with another member of staff, we had to interrupt to get checked in.
Although the dinner was lovely, the dessert let it down. I had the brownie which tasted as though it had been defrosted in the microwave and was more of a cake. My partner has the cheese cake which was slightly warm and looked as though it had been cut in half from another piece. Our room seemed very basic in comparison to the pictures and there were nail/screw holes on the bathroom & room door frames which let the appearance down.
