My original room had a bad smell from the drains and with no fuss they happily moved me to another room that was beyond expectations, had a fantastic night away, highly recommend such a beautiful hotel and lovely staff will definitely be returning. so lucky to have a gorgeous place like this on my doorstep

The location was amazing. The vibe of the pub/restaurant and room was amazing. Loved it immediately. The room was super comfy and quirky and I immediately want to go back there. The whole place felt really great (vibe wise). Trendy, chic, inclusive and very relaxed.

The breakfast was so tasty but was delayed on this particular day. Considerably. And I dislike that you have to pay extra ontop of already paying for a standard bed and breakfast, if you want a full English. It wasnt much extra but felt a bit cheeky to ask for a surcharge. The food was great when it came but wasnt massive. The bath tap leaked which was a tiny bit annoying but the room overall was just so comfy and lovely. It had the nicest brand of tea and coffee and also a fridge which was great. The parking was free on site too which was amazing

Non chain hotel, lovely period features, lovely garden, and restaurant. Staff, very friendly.

Only minor gripe is that the ceiling light fittings needed a good dust as there were some cobwebs, but due to the high ceilings, it didn't distract too much.

Toilet and shower in the bedroom, with frosted glass around toilet and no curtain around shower, which is weird and we didn't like it!
